Tonight I am having a mega flylady mission - I want to come home from work tomorrow afternoon to something resembling order and twinkly things, NOT the myriad of decoration boxes, wrapping paper, unwrapped presents and general crap that currently adorns my abode

yep, same here. There should have been a few 27 fling boogies round this part, let me tell you :D Last batch of laundry needs to go in, living room needs to be visitor proofed - like child proofing, but the guests are bigger and not so good on their feet after they've had a few  - and I'm working on keeping a lurgy at bay.

Oh, and I need to clean up the custard powder from nearly every surface in the kitchen as I forgot to put the lid on last time I used it.:o A useful tip there...

I hope you manage to keep the lurgy at arms length.

I need to make sure downstairs is good enough for all and sundry, especially the kitchen, dining room and lounge, but upstairs, as long as the bathroom and spare room (aged Nana is staying over christmas night) are good enough, the rest of upstairs will do with the doors being shut :o

No, the butchers is in the next village and the buses are not on our side, but I have managed to get my mum to pick it up and drop it off at ours while I am at work, so that makes my day a little better.

Having a quick coffee, and then will get on with some frantic housework. It is still freezing outside, and the short walk home from the bus was nasty nasty nasty, with the ice, so I am hoping that now I am indoors, I can stay in, and get warm.

Essentially a NSD today - mainly because I left my purse at home today. I thought it had been pinched, because I was sure I had it, but I had actually left it in the kitchen......doh......still, no money spent, as a result, so there has to be a positive to it!

Hope you have all had a good day x

Hmmm....done a reasonable amount and it does look better, but still a lot to go. Was greeted to the full Kevin & Perry effect from the kids, which needless to say did not go down too well with me this evening........things have settled down now, and we are just finishing off wrapping the last of the presents and getting them under the tree while TOTP 2 is on the telly.

Oh the joys of pre-Christmas stress.........
