Elantan - You're so right! You should have seen the amount of food some people were buying! Frightening! I thought our trolley was bad but many people had two trolleys! It's funny though - now it's all in the freezer / cupboards etc it doesn't look that much. We'd run everything down so much we still have space and it can stay that way! No more shopping, no going out, nothing! I'm staying warm!

Rainy, if you hunt about, I am sure you will find the odd near-but-not-quite-finished bottle of something behind the sofa.......:D

Ah-ha! So there is...an attempted cocktail I think. It's a very strange colour and looks to be glowing...

    Hi Hypno
Glad you had a good holiday, but it sounds more like endurance (apart from someone else doing the cooking and cleaning :D Bliss!)

Good to hear you've unwound :)

Well, I survived Tescos.......and didn't spend as much as I feared, so am generally very happy - just the meat to collect from the butcher on Christmas Eve. So, another job done. I got two bottles of decent wine given to me from work, so that is the dinner wine sorted too :D

Just cooking dinner in the microwave......I am staaarving!!

Hope you have all had a good day.

I think that we will be eating cheese and biscuits until the new year though - our "end of year" storecupboard challenge will be an interesting one!
