Humph No sign of bankcard so will need to go to the bank and get cash in the morning (daren't wait for the postie as I'm working at 4). Really wanted to get to Somerfield early as they'll deliver but that's out the window now. Doubt there will be any slots left by the time the bank opens.
Pain in the butt ex has finally deigned to let me know what he wants to buy DS for Chrismas -an Ipod touch-and do I want to go halves GRRRR I've already bought him an mp3 player but I know the touch is what DS really wants. Of course he's out of the country already for Christmas so guess who has to go and buy it.
12 years apart and he STILL manages to mess up my Christmas planning Bleah

Morning all. The day before Christmas eve - so we are almost at the point where if it isn't bought/done/decorated/thought about by now, it isn't worth stressing over!

Scratches and banking done - nothing to report there, other than OH pay has gone in, so my weekly "housekeeping" system can continue, which is certainly working well.

Have a good day everyone - wrap up warm, and take care underfoot when you are out - it is incredibly icy out there.

    Good morning,

Well the 6am trip to Tesco's changed to Sainsbury's (as it was closer), really empty. Was going well until they announced no alcohol until after 8, so OH is doing a quick sortie to grab the booze later.

Did scratchies before going out, so well ahead of plan at the moment other than the extra shop, but at least that is delegated :)

Had a good day on virgin free bingo yesterday, won £12.50 over 2 games :)

Just remembered, virgin email yesterday the 20% cashback on tuesday's and the 50p for playing on Wednesday's are both on hold until at least the new year.

    Morning

Just got back from trip to sainsburys at 6.30, butchers at 6.50 and the farm to pick up potatoes. DS had to be at work at 6.30 so we dropped him off then went shopping. Have now got to go to dentist!!!

    Have a good day everyone

My morning is a bit like that tomorrow -OH has to be at work at 6.15am, the turkey and other meat has to be collected between 7.30 and midday, but I am working 8-1......we only have one car, and the buses don't go early enough for OH to go to work (too icy for the motorbike) so I will have to take him to work for 6.15, then get back, throw coffee down my throat, and be first in the queue at the butchers, throw the meat into the fridge, and hope I get to work more or less on time.......

Tonight I am having a mega flylady mission - I want to come home from work tomorrow afternoon to something resembling order and twinkly things, NOT the myriad of decoration boxes, wrapping paper, unwrapped presents and general crap that currently adorns my abode
