Scratches done - 20p :D Are you reading, Alastair Darling? This is how you should be spending your time if you want to get the books to balance

Banking done - £10 scratchcard winnings (see, Mr Darling, it's not just talk you know, it really does work!), which I have transferred straight to the 0% card.

£22.00 won on bingo last night, in between flylady tasks, so hopefully tat will be with me early next week, and can also be transferred to the 0%.

Flylady today is the bathrooms - I can happily do that when I get home. I scrubbed the childrens' bathroom to within an inch of its life on Sunday, so it shouldn't take me too long to do today.

It is nice to get up to a house that is a little clearer......I am hoping that it will have an effect on the way I feel, generally, over the next few weeks (I just have to keep going with the tidy stuff, obviously, but I'm on day 4 and doing well so far!).

I hope you all have a good day xx

Love the idea of Alaistair Darling getting up half an hour early to do scratchcards and matched betting! It would be one hell of an expose when the newspapers found out! :rotfl:

Your flylady tasks are making me exhausted just reading about them. By the time I have finished work, been to the gym, come home and cooked dinner that is enough for me...usually manage about 30 minutes of zombie TV watching and then bed! Well done super-hypno :D!

Not super-hypno, katy.......I am just doing the things that I really SHOULD have been doing already :o I think I have used my hectic lifestyle, and long hours as a reason, when in fact it is only an excuse :o

Think I need to read some of that fly lady stuff and see what it suggests for me...where do I find it on here?

If it works for Hypno..it has to be good.

Link to this week's flylady for you taxi.

I am up in your general area this weekend......staying in a travel inn in Blackburn while the children are skiing in Pendle and Rossendale. I know it is not right close to you, but it will be the closest I am likely to get, so I will wave at you when I am there

(note to anyone who sees mad woman waving to no one in particular in a carpark......it's only hypno waving to taxi)

I'm jealous of your successful Flyladying, Hypno! I just can't manage it - even the opening post of the flylady thread fills me with dread.

I think paying our European Union contribution in change from piggy banks, terramundis and the bottom of handbags, complete with fluffy midget gems, may be a tad time consuming though.

Maybe we could flog off the banks on a BOGOF offer though

It's not like these guys have anything better to do with their time though .... Except maybe claim for moats being emptied cleaned and refilled

However untidy we think our homes are, they surely can't be as bad as some of those on "How clean is your house?" It must be awful to get into a situation where you let things slip and then it gets out of hand, and the resulting squalor makes you feel worse, so you are less inclined to clean up etc etc.
