Evening All!
i tried to join in the bingo and this stupid laptop or AOL or both kept crashing every time I got going! Ive given up cos I dont think its meant to be!
Hypno, you know about these things my OH is expecting a tax refund any idea when he will get it? Will it be in April or might it come sooner? (fingers xd it will be sooner) cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
hi hypno, i'm tired of being poorly so think i will go back to work tomorrow, it's booooring!
I didn't win owt on BB today, but did yesterday which was my first day so another thank you for providing me the information about it.
Think it must be the cold/flu but i'm wishing i could really do more to become debt free but i seem to be stuck in a rutt, or it's more that i'm paying the maximum i can pay off the debts so don't see myself making any more changes which reduce my df date and it's working out such things that have kept me going. i was even hoping my sister would come online today so i could try and get her to let me help her in her debt free journey. How desperate am i to be doing something productive????lol0 -
lucielle, there is £3100 still on the 0%......slowly slowly!
CG, I have only had a refund once, and it was very quickly back in my bank account - far quicker than I expected, so hopefully your OH won't have to wait too long.
LT, I am glad you are feeling a bit better.
Just back from the latest 6th form college........DD loves it, and I think it is her first choice. My only problem is that it is just off the road of my dreams  As we drove to the school this evening, I just kept saying "ooh, that one's up for sale" and "oh I love that one!"........DD was saying "we're not here to look at houses, we're here to look at school".....:o
My response was that if we lived there, she could walk to school, and have an extra half hour in bed because she would be nearer - she soon came round to the ideal  :rotfl:

We do have a lot of choice, but I have to admit I am only visiting the ones that I consider to be the good ones - the others will be overlooked, perhaps unfairly, by us......but there is such thing as too much choice if you are not careful!
The three we shortlisted are all very very close in terms of preference, so I am hopeful that she will get offered a place at one of them, but in reality whichever one doesn't really matter too much.......although the houses by the latest one are by far the best!
Yes, we WILL get that dream house, but sadly for DD, probably not until she has finished at school there - but you never know.......maybe.......perhaps that could be my aim, to have moved before she sits her exams to ensure less travel stress on exam day :rotfl:
Oh I jest.......just a wee bit......or maybe not at all :rotfl:
Back to reality, and mystery shop done.......I was able to get a nice stocking filler for DD in the process....although it took me a while to work out how OH laptop links up to my scanner, so a little stressful moment there
Oh and big news of the day - DS's passport turned up.......oddly enough, right in the place where it should have been, and that we have looked a dozen times or more already :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. firstly Happy Birthday!!! The thai meal sounded lovely! Much better than spagetti on toast tonight!
secondly - re passport - that sounds like me! I have the same search for my travel card 8 times a day!!!!!
I've not been on much - trying to get stuff done but am being scuppered by my flatmate. She has discovered my West Wing box set and I just can't resist!
Won £50 on BB after a spell of nothing for a few days. Just withdrawn it and will make sure that I make time again tomorrow. At this rate I'll be able to buy my brothers (twins) 30th bday pressies without going overbudget!
Waving to you all

£49 saved - so very pleased about that - especially as we had to put three new tyres on the car today :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
