It's the beginning of a new month so time for a list of thoughts and targets.....
- maintain weekly "housekeeping" system, monitoring difficulties and addressing any issues early on
- book holiday, and pay for in its entirety by MSE money
- chase up accident claim and keep monitoring bank charge claim situation
- hunt one last time for DS passport before obtaining replacement
- keep more or less on top of housework - thank you flylady!
- get Christmas shopping basically done - presents to be bought out of weekly housekeeping money

Happy November to you too Hypno.
It is pouring down here, but I feel strangely optimistic that it's going to be a good month!
Have a nice (and productive) day0 -
It is dry here - but I don't think it will be that way for long
I generally feel optimistic in November - I think it is because I know that the end of the year is upon us, and I can look back and see what progress I have made, and can start making plans for the next 12 months without getting caught up in the whole "new years resolutions" stuff!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Good morning,
Wet and windy here.
I like your idea of setting targets, so off to do somethinking about some. There are always lots of good ideas on your thread, so thanks for keeping it going.0 -

Just thought of some November targets:
1 - lose enough weight so that I dare get on the scales
2 - keep the grocery shop to below 50% of budget
3 - have a go at bingo
4 - do at least 3 x 30 mins exercise a week0 -
Sounds good se :T0

I've given up having weight/exercise things on my targets - am doomed to failure, so no longer build myself up for the fall

I'm hoping setting the targets will make me stick to it, as I tend to gradually get back to my old ways, and with it being just for a month it's not too bad.
Admittedly talking about aero's for breakfast is making me think of raiding the local shopIt could be a very long month!!!
Hope you find the passport, we ended up cancelling a family weekend trip to France when DS1 lost his passport at Uni, of course he found it as soon as he got back to Uni.0 -

Hope you find passport.
A neighbour had a problem with passport for holiday as had to replace baby passport. Sent it away in plenty of time, but it never arrived. After much ringing round the passport office, they found the courier receipt so insisted she had it. The courier receipt had a description of the front door, and it wasn't hers, she lives at nn xxxxxfield road and round the corner is the same number xxxxwood road and the description was of their front door. That house is empty. She then had to get an emergency one at a cost of over £100 while passport office investigated. 4 months later they refunded her for both passports as a result of 'administrative error' as a gesture of goodwill.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
