Best bit was that friend's DS was horrified that we would consider such a thing - my two just shrugged their shoulders and said "well it will save money so why not!"
Jury's out re the signature - I just need to keep focused, and I worry that I am slowing down so much that I may lose the momentum completely.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I like the sig Hypno as when you pay the mortgage it will come down by a chunk and each time you pay something off the other debts.
Holiday sounds good..sure you can charm them into letting you have the time off.0 -
So....first target, to get below £190k.........
Re the holiday, I am fairly sure it will be ok, but I just don't want to assume, when I know that there is a chance they could say no if someone has already booked that week off. Fingers crossed for Monday morning!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. £190k sounds good to me.
GL for monday0 -
I like the new signature
Especially when you think it wasn't that long ago that you changed your signature to include all your debts, that took a while before you felt happy to include them and now they are under control and progressing nicely it seems sensible to include everything and with you taking part in the "mfit take 2" challenge it will help motivate you if you can see everything in one place. It definitely helps me having my mortgage figures in my signature. Sorry for all those who don't like the new one, but sooner or later it will all be gone anyway

Thanks benben - I nicked part of the idea from you anyway :rotfl: It is quite motivating when you announce you have seen the back of the next month......so I thought I would adopt that. According to the snowball, if I pay minimums, and snowball those, the mortgage will be gone in December 2023.......of course the aim would be to have it gone before then (if we stayed put here).Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Poor old gerbil isn't getting much towards his new bike fund though - I can't remember when he last had a win, even a small one - he has had to deposit for the last two weeks just to qualify for the free games :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
