What a day!

I was working from 1-10, during which my boss asked me if I would work on Sunday, and she said she would take me off one of the days I was supposed to work in the middle of next week. I asked her to leave me in, so I will now be working 12/14 days over the next fortnight! :eek: :rolleyes: :T (I can't say no to money!)

And speaking of all things China...I had a very funny day at work: I was serving one man, when I heard two oriental-looking men on the adjacent seats speaking in what sounded like Mandarin Chinese. Bless 'em, but they couldn't speak much English, so I ended up serving them in Chinese! :eek: It's been a fair while since I spoke any, so it was quite amusing trying to think up shoe-related vocabulary on the spur of the moment but he actually understood me! *Faints* And lawks, but he has a proper thick accent! ROFL!

Pickle, well done on serving in mandarin! I expect your customer was very impressed The English are usually so poor at languages, so it will have been a nice change for someone to give it a go!

LT, I am very pleased you got a good win on the bingo - I had a nice one yesterday too - £44 which is my biggest this year, so I was happy too.

DT - I am in Pontypool in a couple of weeks - is that anywhere near you?

All I know, shaun, is that Pontypool is a flippin long way away from me as I live in more or less the most eastern part of the UK!

well done to you too, seese! Good luck with the matched betting - if in any doubt whatsoever, ask questions on the beginners thread - they are very helpful over there, and would much rather you got it right rather than fumble your way through and get it wrong.

I know that some of the betting sites take paypal, shaun, but I am not sure to what extent they all do, because I just use my debit card.
