I consider ours to all be joint - we have been together since I was 15, have both always worked full time, and have both benefitted from each other's income and from the spending.....

So all our debts/mortgage/income is considered "ours".

I earn twice what OH does, but he works more hours than I do - so it would be unfair to divide things by who earns what, who spends what, and who owes what.

But I know that we are in the minority!

    Good morning,

On the credit card paying off discussion. Why not put the money you would pay off in an ISA or savings account, then if you can't get a 0% when the current offer finishes you just pay it off, then you can keep it in the account getting interest until 0% deals finish or until the minimum monthly repayments have cleared the balance. I know the interest rates on savings aren't brilliant, but it's all money.

I know there's motivation in clearing debt's, but if you can offset it with savings and can repay at any point, it's not really a debt anymore.
I stooze until my 0% is up - but this year I then had to use it to live on while out of work.... still better than borrowing money at high interest rates. I still paid off debt on top!

On the house - you think they'd realise that they could get so much more for the property if they vamped it up a bit! I think the bedrooms are too small - not sure it would fit my superking bed in!

Well thanks hypno - on BB I just got my fiver back this morning. So any money from here on in is profit. Signed up husband too tonight and he won £10 on his 5th game so withdrawn that - so now £5 up on his too!

Now I need to try and give kingjp a go - they seem to have disappeared off quidco tho???

If I had to come up with a "favourite thing" about the flat we live in, it would be the original 1950's larder in the kitchen, complete with tiled shelf and floor - so I understand totally where you're coming from!

OK Master, I think we might be ready for the next initiation...
What's a Casino reload? Do you need to know how to play blackjack or is it simple?

Well done on the bingo winnings :T
