Hey hey
I'm off to Guildford tomorrow for SHOPPING :j my friend lives near there and apparently v. good for shopping. I've got to get a christening pressie for my niece for weekend after this one and I'm going to try and get some Chrissie cards to write on the train up to the christening...multi-tasking..I'm all about it!
I'm hoping to limit shopping to bits for christmas though and not too much on myself.
We are also going to one of those Jamie Oliver Italian places and then hopefully to see 2012 at cinema!
I know I probably seem like a bit of culture vulture but I'm pushing my arty-farty-ness to the limit on Sunday.....going to see a 6 hr play in Dutch :eek: (with English surtitles,) basically three Shakespeare tragedies.
When I booked I didn't realise what it wasmy theatre friend said 'fancy this' and I was busy at work so just emailed back 'yes' without reading the write up!!!!!! He normally suggests good stuff and I like to try new things so didn't think about it!!!!!! til I discovered the 6 hr bit
I've 'given' myself permission to leave when it all gets too much...I don't know if I can stick it out to the end but we'll see!!!
And am also pathetically sad in that this means I will miss both sat and sun X-Factor programmes. I normally catch one of them.......Lloyd to go though!!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Bowski - thank goodness you are safe and not flooded out. Such horrible news with the loss of the Policeman.
I suppose although the food at work isn't too healthy..it is free?? And so hopefully your food bill has been lower plus you've been getting the extra wages from all this overtime???
There is usually (hopefully) a silver lining?!I've got my own flat :j:j

Oh and on the diet fron, you know that pound I lost last week? Well it's come back and brought a friend! Raging! My night tonight is sitting eating crisps in front of the telly but tomorrow my mate's coming over for a girlie night in. I've made some nice food, got (more) crisps and dips and truffles in (OINK OINK WIBBLE WOBBLE) and some red wine. Also got some right old movies on my free Blockbuster trial so canny wait! Enjoy your weekends all X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Sounds like a fun night you have planned with your friend Souk!
On the living front I am half considering moving home when my contract is up in Feb as then I can start saving money and actually have enough to maybe buy my own place, got about 6 weeks to decide what to do.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Would you move somewhere cheaper in your home town - or are you ready for a 'big' move?Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

To be honest no idea, just if I moved home my Dad wouldn't actually charge me rent, would just have to help towards bills and so could save at least £500 a month but not sure if it would be good for mine and my Dads relationship. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
