Lilmissmup - maybe move back home but with a deadline - 6months or something like that. Then if things aren't working too well - you've agreed already you won't be there indefinitely. You could probably really save well in 6mths with only paying bills.

I've moved back home a couple of times when I was younger and I enjoyed it. I had to bite my tongue a couple of times when my mum said something or other but I just reminded myself that I was lucky to be able to go back home and to try and take a step back. I think on some things I'm too similar to my mum....... I also found it different to when I was a teenager. I was a lot more appreciative of things like cooking and cleaning and was a lot more helpful about the house because I learnt how much trouble doing a weekly shop and cooking every night was!!!!

I've had a complete gossip girl fest tonight on itv-player - managed to watch the past three episodes that I'd missed. I think I'm up to date on everything I'm watching at the moment. There seems to be tons of good tv (or at least stuff I like) on at the moment and so I'm always having to catch up!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Evening ladies, I'm glad none of you have been affected by the flooding, I haven't watched the news for weeks so don't have a clue what's going on.

Am manically busy with assignments and other things so will investigate Quidco et al when I have some money and some free time.

It's wierd about the simultaneous weight gain... maybe you all have a psychic connection! All I know is that I've lost roughly a stone since I got back from Oz so I'm a slim and svelte (skinny, even!) 18.5 stone or 115kg...

Welcome Psychopathbabble, that's an apt username for this thread :D
The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.

Yeh I use this one or the extended version on pretty much every forum I use.

If I move home it would probably be for a year or so.

My biggest goal in life right now would be to buy my own home, so thats the reason I want to do it really.

There is no way I could save up for a deposit now, I only have £250 left over each month to eat and entertain myself with now, can't afford to save a penny :o

I am only 25 so its not like I am moving home too late I guess but I moved out when I was 19, lived with ex until 4 months ago and am used to my own space.

My ex has spent last few weeks messing me around, playing mind games with me so I am feeling a bit like a failure for letting him do that and moving home is making me feel a bit like a failure too. :o
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

    Hi LMM

I lurk sometimes on your thread and I had to post. You are NOT a failure. He's the one who is too spineless/weak/inconsiderate/emotionally !!!!!! that he cannot be honest about his feelings and a decent human being.

It was quite a while ago now, but I broke up with a guy I honestly thought I'd spend the rest of my life with. He played all sorts of mind games when we broke up. It took me ages to get over it, largely because of all the games. I moved away eventually and now, looking back, him breaking up with me was the best thing that ever happened to me, however hard it was at the time.

Whatever you decide to do, be strong and think of you. Read that line again at the bottom of your post and create an exciting, fabulous future for yourself. It can be whatever you want it to be.

    Take care

    Gwenx
