Hello everyone, never posted before on here but I'm definitely single and surplus. Never think much about it except when I do those online surveys and they ask questions like 'Who does the shopping, cleaning etc, who is responsible for this and that?'. Goddamit the answer is always ME!
I've done the internet dating. I had one guy turn up wearing a set of joke teeth, another who spent the entire time on the phone to his ex discussing childcare, one who informed me as we walked around the park that he was 'having trouble walking' (cough, splutter). A couple turned out to be married and mostly they were 2 foot shorter than the profile height. Plus they always seemed to want women infinitely younger, thinner and better looking than them. Sigh...
Right, the dog needs walking, then there's the shopping, gardening, housework... Who is going to do that I wonder? Ummmm I think that would be ME!

I need sectioning, I went walking today at Haworth, next time I go hiking I will make sure the hiking boots I take are a left and right from the same pair, and not 1 of each from the ones i have by the back door, talk about feeling like an idiot walking past folk, cos i wasn't going back home for a matching boot.l

No, but when I walked past someone, didn't turn round incase they were looking at my boots and saying she's got odd boots on.

I have just totally confused the credit card call centres by asking to have my credit limit reduced :rotfl: "sorry madam I'll have to put you on hold..." :D

Suddenly realised I have over 5K of spare credit and decided better remove it from temptation and the credit report. Looking forward to finishing car loan in October which will kill the smallest card and the overdraft shortly afterwards. Possibly even faster if I get back to full time hours.

Work's been completely horrible but the masters is nearly done - and I am making plans for having a life again.

Hope all good just wanted to share that with people who'd appreciate it

    Hello everyone

Long time, no post. I hope you're all doing well :) I'm making slow, but steady progress. I've reached my second savings target and am making plans for a third. I now have a nice amount of money saved to do up my house, but a bit more would be cover all eventualities. Do I have a saving problem?!

It seems I still have conquered my spending problems though because my debt isn't looking too good. I'm debating starting another diary to get me back on the straight and narrow...

I'm going to see a careers counsellor to help me figure out what to do with my career. Work is crazy and has been for most of the year so far. It doesn't particularly inspire me and it's certainly not rewarding, financially or otherwise. Apart from that I'm pretty busy with planning my big holiday later in the year, seeing friends, horse riding and trying to keep up my MSE ways.

Hope you're all doing well, it's very quiet on here these days.

    Hi All!

Gosh its been a while... Well I have been paying off my debts..... VERY SLOWLY..... but they have gone down and not up which is a major positive. Just thrown $800 off the evil ANZ... the money was meant, is meant, for my fashion course next year but I figure in the meantime it'd be better reducing the 20% interest on that card then accumulating 5% interest in savings... do have a bit of a grasp on maths =)

Still single but have an absolute wicked time with it =P

    How is everyone?

Still single, not really surprising when doing job plus masters... but nearly finished and no travel now so am looking ;)

Debts getting there slowly - finally made spreadsheet and resolved that the only rule is the total has to go down every month. Is working better than anything else so far!

Work is a pain in the *** and it looks like I will have to move next year as landlord may be selling. Here's hoping something and someone fabulous come along :D
