Hiya, how's everyone doing? Feel a bit down at the moment works not going too well, so I've been applying for job's online, but I'm not good at been patient I want replies straight away, oh well.

I will never give up alcohol for Lent again that must have been one of the daftest ideas I have ever had, slept really well tho, and I didn't see the point in going out so must have saved some money as well, but it was boring, and now I can drink keep thinking I should save the money incase my job goes pear shaped, so I'm in on a Saturday night.

Wow I hope this thread hasn't died a death. My abscence is down to working two jobs, moving house (again) and still trying to set up the brewery. Anyone out there?

Hey man. New job here, moved to London, still searching for my own place, thinking about whether I still want to be single after two years. Not starting a brewery, just consuming the contents of one every few months..!

Updates from everyone else please :)

One job, one masters, exams soon so send luck this way pleeeeease

Nagging awareness surfacing that once masters is done will have unaccustomed time on my hands and no excuses for singledom...:eek: (head remaining firmly in sand on this issue til after exams, but may then pitch up here in need of metaphorical ears to bend and hands to hold while tiptoeing into attempts at social life)

    Hope all good with everyone

I'm more of a lurker than a poster these days.

Things going well financially for me at the moment as got a temp promotion which is well paid and have also done temporary jobs as poll clerk in the referendum and as census collecter which means I've paid off my CC and nearly paid off my parents and will do so next payday. Just got my pesky student loan to finish in feb and the just the mortgage :rotfl::rotfl:

Still single, ex suddenly decided he wanted to get back together  been a bit on POF recently but I asked the last promising guy I was messaging what he did in his spare time and he said just the boring usual....!!!!!!? I'm not interested in going out with someone who describes their time off as boring!!!!!:eek: shame as he seemed cool prior to that. I've also signed up to Zoosk for free but nothing much happening there so far.....not sure I can be bothered really and I've got a ton going on now - June is practically completely full!!

Got hols coming up end of June / early July and can't wait!!

No brewery here either but the local shop has had to order in extra supplies of pink wine as there's been such a run on it.....:o;)

Rosa - massive good luck vibes heading your way
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Quick update, I've been doing the £10 a day challenge, well I've been doing £5 a day, won't hit the target but it has made me start selling my stuff on fleabay myself, enjoying it don't know why, think it's cos I've sold 2 items and that's 2 less in the house.

It didn't work out with the guy I was sort of dating, which I'm not devastated about, just not enough in common. He was like Make up's guy I'd ask him what he'd done and he'd say nowt, and then he'd say I did too much and I shouldn't so I could see him more, well I live alone so if i don't do it the fairy's won't, then it would be are you out this weekend, I'd say no and be considered boring. My life doesn't revolve around the pub and the telly, well not every weekend.

Covering for my manager at work for the next 2 weeks, had to chair the meeting yesterday, I'm the only female with 8 men, they waffle on normally so kept pushing the meeting on so I could get back to a coffee.

Good Luck Rosa, won't be long till you've finished. Need sleep got to start work earlier, which I hate.
