Anybody heard from Sarah? If you're lurking - hope you're OK?Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Totally agree Shoe Gal, everybody on this thread deserves good things :A
Hope everybody's doing okI've mainly been lurking recently (although I did venture into The Arms...crikey, there must be some short men posting over there ).
I started a Chrimbo crackers countdown on the main DFW board if any SAIDer's would like to join in (blatant plug)
I'm not sure what's happened, but my attitude to money seems to have shifted recently. My old 'treat yourself' attitude seems to have returned somewhat and whilst I think I needed to give myself a bit of a break, the fact that I'm mentally composing what my future jewellry collection will look like, not to mention my wardrobe, what car I will drive, where I will holiday and what macbook I will have is starting to scare me a bit:eek:
Anyway, just thought I'd drop in and hope everybody's having a lovely weekend

Had a brilliant day today, my car passed it's mot, and I let the garage who look after the trucks at work do the mot, they also have a car garage, I needed my old locking wheel nuts taking off and new ones putting on, and they collected it and fetched it back, when they fetched it back they said my spanner thing for taking the wheel bolts off wouldn't fit my new bolts so they gave me an adapter, he actually gave me a spanner, I'll be unlucky if I see the invoice anytime soon, cos there carp at getting invoices out on time, but brilliant at the mechanics.
Used a £4 off voucher on my food shopping, and just ordered a cd from amazon with cashback and used £7 in vouchers, so will cost me virtually nothing. Also going out with my friends Friday night so should have a good time. Can this week get any better?0 -
