  • Me too. I think it is 'cos its summer and I want to be out and about but not always on my own! Plus it hasn't helped that ALL my friends have been on holiday at the same time (really I think they should coordinate so I have some one left to drink with!) to places like Hawaii,Peru, France and Spain and I haven't been any way 'cos I am too poor Wahhhhhh

I SWEAR when I am debt free I will book a sodding holiday.

    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Ditto to the holiday! I'm on mine just now and am having a ball but haven't been able to afford to go abroad!

They are fab pics and great weather, I washed my car last weekend and the birds decided that would be a great place to dump on it, but it's great when you see cars that are loved, clean and shiny.

We have an agency driver in at work and I'm in love I think he's great, thing is he's bald and can't get my head round that bit, never liked bald men before, think I've been too single too long.

    Hello

Well I'm back properly. I've been lurking for a while as not had broadband in my new place but now hooked up properly and back in the 21st century.

Am loving the flat and having my own place. It is still in a right state though. Boxes everywhere. I've brought tons of stuff with me that I've been intending to ebay so i need to pull my finger out and get that done.

I'm excited though as my first craft project is nearly finished, I'm making some funky union jack chair pads for my lovely bistro set that my sister got me as a housewarming for my balcony.

My housewarming is next weekend so gonna need to hurry up and get the flat into better order.

My first month hasn't been to bad moneywise as I had to pay my first months rent & service charge up front so only had mortgage which is about equivalent to my old rent. However it all kicks in with next months pay which arrives on 20th so I need to work out a budget for that. I've had my council tax in which is as I expected and sorted out my single person discount already :money: However no idea what I'm looking at for my electric or my heating / hot water or indeed water rates......

Butterflies - your pics are ace, looks like a fun weekend. Those kind of events are great for socialising and enjoying the weather

Hope everyone else has fun plans for the weekend! :T
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

I was begining to think I was going mad, bald men what am I on?

Makeup welcome back and glad your enjoying your own place, I just like the quiet, and doing what I want.

Out tomorrow with my friends and not a lot of stuff planned, had a bad week at work, and another 2 busy weeks coming up, I have to help in another department and I hate it, it's boring, what's everyone else doing?
