Single and in Debt Part 3- The problem of surplus and excess women

I've been wandering all over hte internet looking for all sorts of things.
I've also been putting a picture into a frame. I was really chuffed as got a fab collage through Photoboxfor half price of some holiday photos and paid for it with survey money. Then used a £10 voucher in Argos for a frame but the frame is quite shoddy and it doesn't look as fabulous as it should
I bought two frames but I'm going to take the other one back.
This one I'll keep and then when I've got some cash I'll splash out on a nicer one.
Problem is the collage is huge so won't fit into frames from most places or else the frames are v. expensive.
Just catching up on my Greys Anatomy and it was a really sad episode. Don't watch ep. 15 if feeling at all down in the dumps esp. about men!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

I second that Shoe Gal 5 months is good, my bit of news is I have a date on Friday, going bowling and I don't intend to lose at the games, and it's pay day on Friday.
make up if you need any craft bits let me know I might have what you need, I have to start getting rid of stuff a bit faster than I am, it's not coming to my boat with me.0 -
Trying to concentrate whilst also drooling over the most sumptuous delicious looking :bdaycake: on bbc1 .
Any progress on your boat hunting eco ? I'm looking forward to sailing over to visit you one day.
You know how there are road maps ? Surely, there must be waterway maps too ?
Quite agree on grand decluttering with a view to living in a smaller space ... one of the aspects of boats I just love is how every possible nook & cranny has been turned into some type of storage space - it really pleases my weird organisational ocd
I have tried to text sarah but the message wasnt delivered so perhaps she has a new phone ?
It is possible that she just needs to spend time away from here or that this just isnt the right place for her any more in which case I'm sure we all completely understand that people do move on & just wish her every happiness & good things in the future & thank her for all the help, support & fun she has provided by starting this thread :A
I'm dreading getting to the 5000 post mark, we'll either have to start a new thread or disband0 -
Eco - wow thanks. I will let you know about my plans and see if I can help with your decluttering!
Lula - well said, I hope Sarah is lurking and reads this and I totally agree with Lula's comments. I hope that life is treating you well and you're moving towards your goals and that NM has finally had his comeuppance.
And, yes, I can confirm there are waterways maps. My parents have them for when they go on their canal boat. They are fab, well the canal boat ones indicate how long it will take you to do a section (normally something like 4 miles / 3 hours...:)) and where the locks are and where the moorings are and stuff like that.
Really useful! and easy to read.
And they always show the waterside pubs :beer:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

PS - Eco - tell us more about date? Is it bald guy???I've got my own flat :j:j

makeup - thanks for that info about waterways maps. How exciting; I know people buy boats miles away & then have to spend 3 weeks getting them to their desired location ... sounds idyllic to me - I love that all the pubs are marked too, it's another selling point for a boat0
-
I'll have to look out for the waterway maps, been readin Canal boat and learning loads.
My date is with someone I was talking to on Saturday night, we didn't talk long but he's a friend of a friend, he seems ok, he's been texting, he does something in IT but didn't really understand what, and he lives about 3 miles away. Bald guy at work was asking me today which is the best mattress we make he's thinking of buying one, wasn't entirely convinced about that tho.
Lula we can't disband although we are getting near 5000 posts now, we'll have to carry on.0 -
oooh id def be up for a meet up on a boat..especially with pub stops compulsory! lolDEBT FREE - MARCH 2012 - NOW JUST THE MORTGAGE!
