    Hi All,
    happy birthday Shoe gal.
The 5 aday reminds me of when my neice came to do work experience where I work, on the 1st day she came back from lunch and said I've been in that canteen, why is it full of old men? I always get asked why if I work with loads of lads do I not go out with one of them, cos there either too old, too young but definatley not eye candy.

    Helloooooo!

Still no internet at home despite us paying lots of money nearly 3wks ago now! Sky are being useless as are BT so God knows when it will get sorted.

On the plus side my ex who I was totally hung-up on told me to Foxtrot Oscar and never contact her again on Monday so after having a little sniffle I got angry and she can now go and boil her head :D I feel a lot better now I have a reason to be angry with her :D

Also it's Falmouth Beer Festival this weekend so will be spending lots of time with a pint in hand and lots of my friends who graduated last year are coming to visit so yay :D

Hi all, hope everyone is okay, still have the dreaded lurgy but am over the worst now so hopefully I can enjoy my week off:rolleyes: I have weighed myself and there is no sign of shrinkage:mad::confused: but still a few days to go before I check properly. I am going to be most annoyed if all that time spent in the bathroom doesn't pay off.

I haven't spent anything today apart from £2 on dinner as I was too lazy to take anything in, I know it's not much but this is supposed to be the sort of thing I am looking out for, if I do that every working day it's about £500 a year:eek:. I must concentrate on not spending any money at all if I can possibly help it, it's little things like that that make me realise just how much I am wasting.

I need a new phone so am going to call Orange next week and see what they can offer me, my contract runs out this month, I don't think they will be able to offer much of a reduction on my tarrif as I think it is only £12 a month but a new phone would be nice and I can send my old one off and hopefully get some money for it. I do have a couple of other old ones lying about which would maybe only get me about £10 each but it's better than nothing. Does anyone know the best way/company to do this?

    Today's list:
    • coins in piggy
    • £2 coin in pot
    • read papers online
    • free coffee in work
    • checked pigsback and quidco
    • checked online banking
    Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000
June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40
    Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j

Slacking on the justification, what kind of example is that??? You have been at death's door, woman, your blood sugar is low and you probably had nothing suitable in the fridge due to not overspending in the supermarket. ;)

I think we should all go over to Shoegal's diary each day while she is gallivanting and post completely random stuff so she has no idea what she has missed. :p

Thanks Fire Fox, you are quite right, I can justify a pair of shoes but I struggle over a sandwich:confused: I have let you all down:D I need to go out for milk in a bit so I will look for something sugary for medicinal purposes, then normal service can be resumed.

Awwww, am missing Shoe Gal already :(

    Hello every / anyone

Have a confession to make ... I forgot to buy some wine on the way home

Have had such a full on day today. Was at work job & only girl on the premises today - got my 5 a day in nice & early; Gorgeous Guy was there, have seen him twice now, but dont know his name or what he does there other than look very gorgeous .

Big Cheese came out with the magic words today : " Do you want to do more hours & can you do 4 days a week ? " :j:D:j

I was so excited at the thought of more days to potentially see Gorgeous Guy that I very nearly squeaked & clapped my hands like a 3 year old :o

I think I may now have discovered the motivation to shed the lard ... oh dear, I really am a shameless tart :rotfl:

No work tomorrow so am going to go & open bottle of very iffy looking red wine,

    back in a bit ....

    xx

    Hello

Glad you're feeling a bit better Sarah, I wouldn't beat yourself up about buying food when you're ill. It can't be helped really. At least it was only £2...it could be worse, when I felt like carp the other week, I ordered a Domino's :D

I've also got a couple of old phones that I was thinking of sending off, but wasn't sure where to send them. I'll have to do some research on here. I've heard of envirofone and mazumo, I think?

I tried to post on that thread about quidco money you gave me, but the thread is closed, so I'll have to look into that aswell. I'm kind of just hoping the money moves on to validated and I won't have to, but can't help thinking the longer it sits there the less likely it is to pay out.

Hope everybody else is doing ok. Will pop over to your diary in a sec Fire Fox.

    Gwenx

:T:T Great news Lula! Well done you!!

Oh, I often find some office totty makes the day go that little bit faster. Sadly my office is a bit lacking at the moment. I'm worried I may not be getting my 5 a day

:j Lula, fab news! I wish I had top totty at work. What are you going to do???? Assume it is all systems go??

I've got a half day and then I'm off to sit in a pub with a friend - and I can't wait

I got called rude and unhelpful at work today and I'm still cross .... I think I deserve my pub afternoon tomorrow!!

Gwen - I had a query on Quidco and it won't let you put it in until a certain point - depending on the company. I'd try and put a claim in and see what it says, it will either let it go through or else say 'wait until xxth October or whatever date'. Then it gives 60 days to either validate or deny.

No idea on mobile phones, keep meaning to try but never got round to it.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
