Hey ladies, okay so what are your plans for the weekend? It's one week til payday for me so I'll be X Factoring on my couch and need to live vicariously! Whatever you do, enjoy. I'm working tomorrow but vile boss is off so that's fab. Sunday will be spent listening to a bit of Radio 2 and doing some cleaning. Rock n roll eh. Also need to ask what you girls do on Quidco and Pigsback. Never really got to grips with that stuff but need all the help I can get!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Gwen - I had a query on Quidco and it won't let you put it in until a certain point - depending on the company. I'd try and put a claim in and see what it says, it will either let it go through or else say 'wait until xxth October or whatever date'. Then it gives 60 days to either validate or deny.
No idea on mobile phones, keep meaning to try but never got round to it.
Forgot to say thanks for this makeupThe money is from a phone I got at the end June/beginning July so I'm sure I could put in a claim. That was one of the reasons I got that phone deal, so I'd better get my £90!!

Hi Souk
I've only really got to grips with Quidco, but it seems to be ok most of the time. I've got over £500 in the last two years and I've forgotten to use it several times and not always made the most of it like I should.
I usually use it for my house and car insurance. I get the best 5-ish quotes then factor in the cashback and work out which will be best. I got my new mobile through there and have £90 tracked from going through quidco, although I'm still waiting for this to pay out  I've applied for a few credit cards purely for the cashback and cancelled them once it's paid out, although be careful of damaging your credit rating. I order contacts online and those go through quidco. Basically anything you buy online could possibly go through quidco. Have you got an account? If not, sign up and have a look!

Thanks Gwen. Will have a look. Don't really do much online but next time I need something I'll have a look. As for worsening my credit rating, that's just not possible LOL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Hi anyone about.
I have added to the deed.
I had a couple off days this week too.
I have a really quiet weekend ahead, taking one of my kitties to vets tomorrow for jabs and thats it which is quite pathetic
I need to socialise more but then again I want to move away so need to save cash....Farmville it is on facebook again it seems will be my excitement! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hey Y'all,
I'm back from the pub.
Such a great feeling to not be in the office and instead be swigging lager on the street! We picked a nice pub but it is in the middle of tons of road works and building work so wasn't exactly the best pub garden in the world but we had a good time.
We left about 9ish which was actually good for me as I'm knackered and very happy to get into my pj's!
I'm also pleased to see this is the weekend the clocks go back! :j I love the xtra hour in bed!
I did my best in the search for my '5 a day' and don't think I made it at all....clearly I need be looking around a lot more! although a friend of a friend joined us and he was quite nice, newly single though and looking for a good times....with younger ladies
Hmm, quidco good when you remember to use it. It all adds up and if you are going to buy something anyway, you might as well quidco it!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hey everyone,
I just posted a rant of epic proportions then deleted it again, decided to pour myself another glass of wine instead & open second bag of crisps .
Sorry to hear you're blue Gwen, one of the guys at work has been very freindly ( not one of the 5 a day ) but inside I just keep thinking, 'yeh yeh yeh, here you are all nice & friendly & chatty & interested but in 6 months time you'll be the one hitting on my sister / shouting at me because I havent ironed your shirt / lending your mother my money / left your pants on my bedroom floor & the loo seat up '
what is the chuffing point
I too am hormonal this week. To the extent that when I went to collect DD from Brownies & some twot had parked his range rover on the zebra crossing thereby impeding safe access for everyone I went & [STRIKE]knocked[/STRIKE] banged on his window & asked if he was blind because he had parked on a zebra crossing outside a school  He was on his mobile at the time so just made a face at me. DD said that was why she liked to go by herself because I embarassed her. I smartly pointed out that had she been by herself she would probably have ended up under the wheels of the range rover .

You are thinking that because you have not yet met a man worthy of you.
Eventually you will x

Thanks sweetie,
I'm really not that keen on meeting anyone at the moment / ever, Was really just commiserating with Gwen on the inevitable disappointment. I've had all the children I want to, have a warm home, garden, car, new job, enough food, clothes & all the facilites / utilites I need. I am blessed & appreciative of that.
Guy in the car was quite minor part of my life ... no lasting damage, just hormones , again ... :rolleyes:0 -

Maybe that's where I'm going wrong, maybe I should open some wine...I'm worried that may lead to more rantage though...Sorry to hear you're blue Gwen, one of the guys at work has been very freindly ( not one of the 5 a day ) but inside I just keep thinking, 'yeh yeh yeh, here you are all nice & friendly & chatty & interested but in 6 months time you'll be the one hitting on my sister / shouting at me because I havent ironed your shirt / lending your mother my money / left your pants on my bedroom floor & the loo seat up '

It's a shame that it's like that, but I think I need to develop that way of thinking. At the moment, I am clearly far too gulliblestupid and think they're great until I uncover something creepy about them and run for the hills, feeling annoyed with them for being such sh1ts and angry at myself for imagining they might actually be decent human beings. I find it difficult to even be friends with blokes anymore...they're generally cheating on their girlfriends, lying to them, knocking some bird or several off, then I find it very difficult to bite my tongue and not point out what a complete c0ck they are.I too am hormonal this week. Good for you for telling that man. I hate drivers like that and it seems the bigger and flashier your car, apparently the more entitled you are to be a n0b on the roads....must be summat to do with increased car tax
I'm slightly calmer than I was, I practically growled at the new guy at work yesterday...ooopslilmissmup wrote: »You are thinking that because you have not yet met a man worthy of you.
Somebody tell him he needs to turn up soon, before I dismiss him completely.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0
