DS is 10 Bowski (potential boyfriend for Lula's DD;)) and he's usually a lovely, happy and agreeable wee soul but tonight he's been tearful, whiney and confused... Calpol and hugs were dispensed and I hope he sleeps it off.
Hope the job stuff works out for you Lula:T.

Aww bless your DD, how sweet is it of her to say that. How long would your DD be in the house for on her own if she did this? Or are you not even considering it? From what you've said it sounds as though you can trust her.Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Lula - I agree with Bowski, everything you've ever posted about your daughter makes her sound very mature and sensible! How long would she be at home alone for? And I guess how would she get home from school?? I don't know, I don't have kids so no idea what sort of age you would do this at?
I'm sure you'll make the right decision though!
Sarah - hope you feel better soon! Sounds like you have a really horrible bug.
Bowski - totally feeling your car hassles. When I had a car I had to replace the exhaust but then I stopped using the car only a few weeks later but I needed the car to get to work so I had to have the work done. It always seems to come at once though :mad: But :j for Magaluf adventures, I bet you and Nicnacnoo will have an amazing time!
I went to see the Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus tonight, my friend got me staff rates at the cinema so was pretty reasonable. Such a good film - Heath, Jonny, Jude & Colin for the eye candy and Lily Cole for the gentlemen. But an ace story and very imaginative and I really enjoyed the whole thing.
I almost bought a book on making tabletop fountains just because you only had to pay postage (www.bangzo.com has a book of the day which is free except for £2.50 postage). I mean who on earth would make a tabletop fountain?? Surely it is asking for water to be all over your table and possessions??? I can't believe I nearly bought it as a Christmas gift fo someone.....:rolleyes:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hey, what is this ? the send Lula out to work full time thread :rotfl:
I'm quite happy with my 5 hours a day at the moment thank you;)
I think I would trust her for maybe an hour but it's not necessary yet, boss quite happy with the hours per day, just wants more days per week.
Funny but although I would trust her & the school is literally at the end of the road, would make her ring me as soon as she got in etc .. I know that some of the other mothers would be horrified. DD comes home on her own a couple of days a week & Bessfriends mother was very concerned & insisted on escorting her across the road. Very sweet of her, but DD was NOT impressed :rotfl:.
Do hope that your DS feels better in the morning Skint, hate it when they're not themselves, all listless & sadgreat that we've got the pair 'fixed up' is yours very MSE too ? DD regularly check the phone box for unused coins & usually bags 20 p so they'll never be short of sweet money
Makeup - I love the completely bonkers idea of a tabletop fountain :rotfl:xbf gave me a chocolate fountain one year, it was great until it came to cleaning it ... never been used since
Bowski - sorry about your car trouble - they can be suc a drain on resources. Relieved to hear that you got your priority spend sorted first :j0 -
It reminds me of a few weeks ago when a colleague had a phone call from the Police about her daughter
Her daughter is just starting secondary school and so she goes home by herself but she is under instructions to call when she gets out of school.
Apparently her mobile phone froze and she couldn't call my colleague so completely freaked out and panicked and was in such a state that the local Police man (I think he is attached to the school) stopped to speak to her and then called my colleague and walked her daughter home. She was really worried about what my colleague would say about the phone and just got herself wound up. Obv my colleague didn't give a **** about the phone ... and then it started working anyway!!
PS - Lula not so much of a 'get lula working full time campaign' but more of a 'get lula away from her crazy boss and co-workers at other job with it's variable income and reduced hours campaign' (hmm, not quite so snappy I'll agree)I've got my own flat :j:j

Ok, not quite so snappy but very very funny :rotfl::A.
Also dont forget that home job just consists of meeting grumpy, desperate middle aged women, work job includes lots of quite tasty men to look at. At least 5 a day - I feel a new womens health campaign coming on :

Agreed !!! Like we'd send you out to full time work  you wouldn't spend as much time on here and we need you! :A
I've been paid and I have £100 I can put towards the car so fingers crossed it doesn't cost much more than that coz if it's not too much I'll lend it off my mother. I was most dissappointed the recovery guy wasn't gorgeous. Some of the workers from the company come in my shop and one of them is honestly thee most gorgeous bloke I've ever seen. So when I seen the lorry my heart skipped a beat, unfortunately it wasn't him. I'll be sure to break down next time he's on call
I've enjoyed this evening being on the internet, I always appreciate it when I've been away from it a few days. I've been sat listening to The Killers,it's been so long since I've listened to the album. So had a nice evening apart from throwing a full cuppa tea all over my sofa  I hadn't even had a sip out of it. At least it never got me.
Suppose I'd best go to bed, last day in work tomorrow until Monday and I'm looking forward to a few days off. GoodnightInitial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
