  • Hi folks,

Hope everybody is keeping busy, buying shoes and the lot. :rotfl:

Yargo1 - Sorry to hear that you were messed around. I am sure you are far too good for him. Dont let it get to you, plenty more fish in the sea.

I have a date on saturday, been chatting to her for a week now on the computer, she seems nice, so see how it goes.

    * runs in *

Thanks for the Karmic Hug Buffy :A it worked a treat :D

First stop was Faith; tried the boots on, so comfy but none in my size so walked out again, weeping silently.

Met DD, outside Primarni an elderly man dropped some coins, I picked them up for him :)

DD bought some stuff but I stalked out of Primani in disgust at the cheap tat & vowing never to shop there again .

Went to TKMaxx, found long knee length black leather boots with manageable heel & Diesel label on them for £20 . Yes, £20. Dont care if they were real Diesel or not, they were £20. Not as comfy as Faith ones but at £50 cheaper I will buy insoles & cope.

    Karmic Reward :T

Didnt buy any clothes, couldnt be bothered , too impatient to get to Waitrose & buy food :rotfl:

I have new boots & dont care what Sarah says :p

*but runs out again very quickly just in case :D*

:jLula - fab news, so glad you found some boots at a fab price - you've saved £70!

Sarah, I've taken the plunge with the phone recycling as well. I should have £17.50 coming plus £3 quidco so hopefully that all works out well.

I've got another phone but that is really really old so not sure is even worth a penny!!!

I thought I'd got a real bargain at Tatco this afternoon. I went to get a bottle of wine - off to a friends tomorrow for his birthday party and found some pink sparkling stuff at 3 for £10 - some kind of mothers day deal. Was originally £5.99 per bottle so i thought a fab deal.....only to find when I got home that it is a 5.5% reduced alcohol wine based product  This is turning into Dan's analogue cheese ...........

However in a way it is good for me as I have a make up job on Sunday so I can't drink too much tomorrow as am getting picked up at 830am.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Sarah, cant believe I omitted the all important 'dont' word :rotfl:I swear you can read my mind, I'm also convinced that there were size 4 boots in Faith but you rang ahead to ask them to be removed from the shelves on friday ;)

Must go empty the washing machine, back later ...

Hi all, Makeup, VERY exciting news about the flat! and Lula whoo hoo to the Boots and Yargo boo to carppy guys who mess you about.

Thank Crunchie it's Friday. Been a rubbishy week really what with all the travelling about in the rain and snow. Did have a good date last night in Edinburgh but had too much red wine and felt rubbish today! Will see him again but as and when he's through here or I'm through there. Interesting guy and had loads to talk about. Spent a bit though. EEk! Payday yesterday so paid off Storecard 2 completely!!!! Money looks to be okay this month but still not got any major ideas on how to clear the rest of the debt, did that bit with council tax money. Nice easy weekend ahead ad having a wee vino now. Hope you're all having a good night X

Well done there souk08, I have had my first glass of red tonight after four weeks of no alcohol. My dad is back home from hospital, (they must have needed the bed), but although he is getting better, he has three organs removed full of cancer, I know that the cancer will spread it always does.
I have not had a bad week at work and had curry tonight but tomorrow I am off to visit my mx5 friend in eccles, I have missed his banter and him checking up on my car.

Think he will be glad to see me as he has been worried about me, hes a good mate and his family are ace too.

My friends from work have been great recently and my actual friends who I have known longer have not been in contact which makes me think (why am I always there to support them but when its me they forget about ringing me).

Maybe its time to move onto new friends?

Got chatting to a really nice guy on okcupid last night, so thats a good sign.
