Hope you get to see the new fella tonight Yargo, I seem to have got short bum who ditched me out the system now, shame next Thursday is so far away for me!

Might be a new potential on match though anyway, trying to keep options open just incase the guy next week isn't as fantastic for me as he seems lol.

I am feeling a lot better tonight so hoping man flu will be gone by Friday as I have big things planned this weekend, off work until Monday now so tomorrow is rest day to help get better though was supposed to be seeing a friend and her baby but don't wanna make them ill esp as friend is out saturday for her first girlie night since baby was born in December and its our mates birthday drinks too!

Actually you do have a point LMM...maybe we will all still be wearing boots in June??

*whispers to Lula* I think you can justify the boots then..

Sarah - I've read some stuff on the ebay board on here. There was a really useful thread which I think was called 'big mistakes on ebay, or things you hate in listings' or something.

Basically they were saying that you should put a full description down, so not a massive load of waffle but a clear description of item.

I used bullet points to make it clearer eg:
    • Red leather
    • Gold coloured metal clasp and chain
    • Width at widest point - 12cm
    • Length at longest point - 22cm
    • Internal zipped pocket
That kind of thing. I also put a thing like 'from a non-smoking and pet free household' which I think is esp. important for clothes.

I don't think this applies to you as your posts are always well written - but spell check stuff and don't use 'text speak'.

Also put on notes about postage (eg. when i was selling there were possible strikes so I did mention this).

The photo upload is easy, once you've saved your pictures to your computer is easy to do on ebay.

The photo bucket stuff is good if you need more than one photo up. If you get to that stage let me know and I'll let you know how it works (in easy language :rotfl:)
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
  • Thanks make up:A I have been reading some of the descriptions on some listings and they are far too flowery for me:D. I think I will do as you advised and keep it short and sweet, at least it won't take as long to write, seems a lot of work for 99p stuff.

Hey all, v cold and miserable here! Pay day tomorrow. Yippee! Glad you're all well and will post after my date tomorrow. Don't get excited now as most of them are not bonny or confident enough for me but this could be one to add to my FWB list. Who knows X
