Wow, you really know how to have a good time :rotfl:

You have made me wonder whether I should try flogging my OU coursebooks , a whole pristine set lurks in the depths somewhere...

    Worth a look.

I've just looked up the Operations Mangling & Accounting books on Amazon & they are £45 each

Morning all. Im actually NOT working this weekend ! yippee!! Instead i am going to spend today visiting my brother and niece and then my friend who has a 13 week old baby. Then back here for x factor and surfing on web. Sunday i hope fairly Early on - that my current lodger will be swiftly moving out so i can spend sunday avo cleaning ready for the new one to move in on monday!! ( current girl , lovely as she is, only stayed 3 months!) I would never have said yes if knew only planning on short stay, its just so much upheaval letting someone in to have full run of your home. Never mind, just glad i got someone else due to move in.
Lula, well done on job news, and makeup thanks for help.

Catch up with u all later

  • Tried cleaning today but got distracted. Darn internet! But i've finally got round to doing a couple more DooYoo reviews, might get 1 or 2 more in today, have a nice hot bath and then sit down in me jimmys for X factor! Who needs a social life! Also went to argos and got 2 biggish looking christmas pressies for DD with 25% off- love a good bargain! But why is it, even when you've spent a fortune, if theres not something that looks big there you need to get more? I always feel so guilty when theres not a big pile there for her- need to get out of that really.

Hey Clarabella, I love Argos too, they are good for the deals! I wouldn't worry about not having a massive pile of gifts for DD - I bet she gets a lot anyway when you add in family gifts etc??? And she can only play with one at a time!!

I broke that golden rule of not shopping on an empty stomach and have spent a fortune (well £25) on food in Tescos  A large proportion of which is carp!

I bought some more of those Choc Orange digestives, Bowski, as they are still on offer in Tatco for about 60p:o:rolleyes:
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Am back home now chilling on the sofa watching x factor, been a busy day but was so good to catch up with brother and niece, Brother valeted my car too so am very pleased with that. My mate with the little baby treated me to an ice cream sundae which was scrummy.

Lodger has moved out tonight... felt a bit sad... she is a nice girl.. gave me a hug as she went , which was like ..ah! as she is bit of a tom boy and i didnt expect her to do that, so has made me think she liked living here too and it is perhaps just circumstance that made her move on so quickly..

so now thinking bath and pjs after x factor and get up early to get on with the cleaning... could also do with painting the room too, just touch up where the boxes came out the room, impossible to not bang them a bit as the room is soo small..

    Hello all you fabby peeps,

    Are we wining tonight ?

I've had a very frustrating day with relatives today, thank goodness my sis was there to share the 'joy' with me .

I was hoping to not to spend any money but just had to try out the weetabix chocolate brownies recipe I found over on OS ... they are good, very very good  but I did have to buy a new tin to bake them in & some chocolate & I also discovered that we were all out of essential hobnob ingredients too. Apparently oats can be used to make something called porridge  I thought they existed purely as hobnob facilitator :D

Sorry to hear your lodger has moved on Yargo, have you someone else lined up to move in ?

hope you're feeling a bit better now eco, do we need to whisper ;)

sarah, cant help with the income thing unless yo're brave enough to ebay. I might have to soon , I've been reprimanded over on the clothes challenge for wanting a £70 handbag :o
