And tonight I intend to weigh some of my old text books and work out if its worthwhile selling them on Amazon, postage wise.

    Anything Business/Finance related?

No, fraid not, the list consists of:
The cultural atlas of ancient egypt
    The archaeology of animal bones
    Roux's Ancient Iraq

I need to weigh them and work out if I can charge enough to cover the postage as the first 2 are very large and heavy....there is only one other copy of the 2000 edition of the archaeology of animal bones on Amazon, and its going for nearly £60! But I doubt I will charge that much as there are newer editions going for less, so I doubt anyone will buy that £60 copy, I know I wouldnt.

Doh :o, completely forgot about the forum downtime, typed out lengthy reply to makeup & it disappeared before my eyes

Thanks to both for encouragement, I am really pleased as even if it's only 2 days a week at the moment, it's replaced the work I've lost at the home job, & is better paid too ;). I was almost giving up hope of ever finding anything suitable or someone who would actually give me chance without requiring a full working history & CV. Last week I was asked whether I would be interested in increasing my hours / days when DD goes to secondary school. It seems that being very enthusisastic was the right answer to give :)

It's probably not much comfort to you right now makeup, but I believe that things happen when the timing is right, so maybe it just wasnt 'your time' or for some reason the chapel wasnt right for oyu at the moment. Something preferable will appear / happen when the time is right :D
