sorry to hear that Gwen & makeup arent feeling good, hope you both perk up soon & wish I could offer you a weekend away but to be honest I'd avoid my area myself if I could. Non stop rain & then a five hour power cut :rolleyes:.

Luckily we always have loads of candles & I have a gas cooker - for this very reason. At least ours is back on now, the next road is still in darknesspoor people

Gwen and Makeup... Hope you both feeling a bit better today?

My lodger Natalie was supposed to be having a dinner cooked by me yesterday but she has food poisioning! Before she had my dinnerlol Bless her , she was in a terrible state. Touch wood.. im feeling ok... So i will be cooking for her tonight .. as long as she is feeling better (should be though i guess - prob a 24 hr thing)

Im actually up and awake at half six this am !!! WHich is a first as for the last few months ive been struggling to get up n out of bed much before 8!! Decided why lay here awake when i can go make a cuppa and grab the laptop and come on here! Thats prob another reason why ive not been on here as have been spendign too much time feelin sorry for myself lazing in bed!!!

But no more! Im gonna try to sort another bag of tat out of room before work this am too!!

How many are meeting up at that weekend away i read about? Are a lot of you booked up already?

I'm not that bad honest! Just looking for sympathy!!! I hate having these things which aren't bad enough to be off work for but which make things a little bit harder.

I've now finished 3rd week of spinning before work and I'm getting into the groove of it.....thank goodness! It's still a killer but now I don't feel like I'm about to collapse til about half way through when it used to be in the first 10 mins!!

I'm impressed you managed spinning when feeling run down makeup! I was exhausted after work yesterday so didn't go to street dance, ended up in A&E instead (where's the rolley eye smiley gone?). Slipped on my kitchen tiles and have dislocated my shoulder and damaged the ligaments between my collarbone and shoulderblade. In quite a lot of pain today and bruised down my side and back.

Luckily my boss has sent me to work from home today, so tired due to waking up everytime I moved so think I'll have a nap and do my work tonight!

AAAARGH! I'm so annoyed!

I'm running for student president next year and there are very strict rules... I called the lady in charge yesterday and she said it was fine to ask for people to help with my campaign, designing posters etc as long as I made it clear I wasn't asking for votes. So last night I set up a group for designs etc on Facebook and invited hundreds of people... today a total sh*tstorm kicked off and I got an email from the same woman telling me I was breaking every rule in the book!!!

Have now deleted the group but apparently I'm not even allowed to tell anyone that I'm running for president, let alone get posters etc designed... very angry!

Erm, Bibbity Bob, that sounds awful, you poor thing :grouphug: Are you sure you shouldn't be signed off work?? It sounds incredibly painful. How can you concentrate in so much pain and/or on strong painkillers?

I wondered if some peeps on here could help me. I'd like to put some stuff on Amazon this weekend, to make some extra pennies. I've been looking at a thread entitled 'Selling Your Stuff on Amazon Part 13 - Advice for newbies in first two posts' on the 'Ebay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales' board. Is this the best place for instructions on how to do it or is there another section somewhere?

To be honest I was told to sign off but as I am on a 0 hours contract I wouldn't get paid and I REALLY can't afford it at the mo.
