I am glad of them as am having a bit of a "wobble" day on my confidence/singledom and the ex,first wobble day for a few weeks though so trying to ignore it, not even sure whats brought it on!
Pity I dont have some chocolate cheesecake to cheer me up, that always works!
Wobbles are natural hun, we all have them, even when we know that the exes aren't worth them!
I'll gladly share my thorntons0 -
BibbityBob - you asked before about spinning and I forgot to answer. I've done two classes now although had been to classes before. It is a really hard workout but I like that - like to feel i've worked as hard as I can!
You spend most of the class on your legs so an excellent workout for the thighs! It is done to pumping music which is quite motivating but if you are more of a calm yoga type you might find it a bit off-putting.
My first class was full of hard-bodies - both men and women but this class today seemed to be full of more new starters - although they were all a lot thinner than me quite a few seem to struggle with it and I was pleased to see I was doing well compared to the rest of the class!!!
I have to say everyone in my first class was very toned and looked fab and that was quite motivating to me.
I've been given a pair of jean by a colleague which are a size smaller than I wear. I've tried them on and can't fasten them over my belly so today in the class was imagining doing them up!!!! Very motivating!!!!:cool:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Thanks hun.
Hopefully wobble will pass by tomorrow! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Have we all still got cabin fever
I have. Ventured out to get lottery tickets and wine and it is dangerous out there. Stocked up on mik so hopefully won't have to risk it for a few days.
Have started making my way threough the huge pile of books I have to get through before I allow myself to get any more. Am reading "This Charming Man," by Marian Keyes. I love her books:D. I am enjoying it so far, a bit darker than her other books though.fat is not a good look
Tried on a pair of trousers before which I haven't worn for a while and I could actually do them up. Couldn't do anything too adventurous in them eg walking, sitting down, breathing properly but I could do them up. Oh for the day when I can do them up without bulging out everywhere and lounge round in them:rolleyes:.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I love Marian Keyes too, she is about the only chick lit writer who I can stand. I love the way she writes, she is really funny. There is a great bit in there in which one of the characters talks about her feelings about kids and it totally mirrors me and for about 2 days I was going to write to her! I've never written to an author though....maybe I should start with her.
Hurrah for the trousers :j:j:j Glad to see you are getting some results from your hard work!
I can't wait to fit into all my old stuff, it's gonna be like a whole new wardrobe and I shall fly through the £100 clothes challenge.... (fingers crossed!)I've got my own flat :j:j

I agree, I find most chick lit incredibly badly written, unfunny and patronising, always makes me think if this rubbish can get published I might as well have a go myself. Have you read any Adele Parks? She is very good as well.
Lula, there's not much to tell about Mik, have gone off him already, too pale and not rich enough;)Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Have any of you read any Katie Fforde? She's really good - much better written than most other chick lit. Lots of independent women - plus attractively difficult men!Sealed Pot Virtual Sealed Pot £365 in 365 days

Cant be doing with any of that Hugh Grant type of film I'm afraid.
At the risk of getting thrown off the thread I shall also declare that I thought Bridget Jones diary was rubbish too.
Yesterday I watched 'All About Eve' - one of the lovefilm 'classics' with Bette Davis & it was superb. That reminds me, I must go & update my list ...0
