Single and in Debt Part 3- The problem of surplus and excess women

Evening peeps!
MF my ex did the texting/emailing thing up until about two months ago and it will make it a lot harder for you but its not just women I wanted to say, seems to be certain people not just men or women!
And I am very good at dating them
My head really hurts today from thinking at work so should be asleep soon!
Hi Hayley welcome to our happy little single world

Ooops I think I was being a bit harsh earlier
It did hit a nerve (obviously lol) but it was unfair for me to make out she's the worst person in the world, I don't even know her
I just went off on one before thinking about it. Now I've had time to think about it I'm embarrassed about my rant

Money Fritter, a guy I was seeing last summer did the same sort of thing. He was an FWB but we went out once a week for dinner/drinks, had a laugh and got on well. Then one day, after we'd had a lovley day out and about, he just stopped getting in touch for no reason. I did the whole 'what did I do' thing for a bit but then I realised I would never know as he wasn't around for me to ask so I should stop navel gazing and get on with it! Understand you had a lot more invested and not telling you to get on with it, guess I just think that you can never really know what's going on in someone's head and that feelings are strange things so all you can do is what's best for you and keep yourself right.
BTW on the whole men/women being a bit odd thing I have to say that it's not one or the other, it's deffo both. Women get fed these stories that men don't want comitment and are up for anything but when someone like me says 'Hi, I don't want to go out with you, I just want a bit of action once a week and then please can you let me alone to get on with my slow cooking/obsessive cleaning/dancing with gays' then they run a mile and go off with the first safe, sensible sort they can find!!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Hi all, hows it going? Feeling really boring lately cos I log in on the morning and you've all been having fab conversations during the night, but I'm so tired recently that it gets to 10 and I'm zzzzzzzzzzzed out on the couch!
Hope everyones ok and taking it slow in the snow- dont want anymore falls please sarah!
It does take ages to get over exes, I agree with Bowski- 4 years apart and I'm still not there. However I think it is a bit harder with kids as, unfortunately, you have to stay in contact. I agree that no texts/phone calls, cold turkey is completely the way to go if you can! However, I know it's sooooooo hard at the time, so (((((((hugs)))))) for you, money fritter!Does anyone else find that dreams make it harder? I'll be doing fine then I will have a wierd family related dream and I'll be gutted again for a few days! Maybe its just me!
Kids back to school today yay! means that cleaning has to be done today- booooo. Really need to get tree down- not done it yet, had it planned in for 3 days ago, oops!
Best go wake little un up, see if shes happy or sad to be back today! Have a good day everyone x0 -

Thanks for all the comments folks, it really is appreciated. Think I am going to chill not contact her and just get on with my life, I think sometimes you can drive yourself crazy trying to fathom out what you did wrong or what they were thinking. So I just need to get on with my life and have fun. It is her loss, I am sure I will meet somebody again, but I dont think I will open up straight away next time, which might be a good thing.
Lots of snow again here this morning in Durham, however, still managed to get into work.
Anyway had a good session in the gym last night doing cardio, as we have a gym in work that is only £1 a session. Going again tonight to do a weights work-out. I need to get back into shape for all them lovely ladies I am going to meet, yeah right!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning MF,
That's exactly what I mean, you don't know what other people are really thinking so can only go with what you think/feel/want. Gym is the way to go! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
I did a very very very bad thing today....I weighed myself. I don't have scales at home so went to Boots and paid 70p for the privilege of discovering I'm the heaviest I've ever been  So depressing...
However on more positive note, I made it to Spinning this morning despite the frost and managed to make it through the class although did wimp out quite a bit and take a few more breaks than we were given
but I figure the first class is going to be the worst and once I get into it I will hopefully see some improvements.
I'm only going to weigh myself monthly as it costs so much - but I think that is better for me anyway, don't want to be doing so much and then see only a small or non-existent loss but over a month should even out a bit.
Bring on 5th Feb!!!! :cool:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction
