    Hello lovelies

I came in from work and had a nap. I still haven't heard about the house and it is GETTING ME DOWN!!

Plus I was a bit hungover from yesterday, went to a gig last minute which was ace!

Tomorrow I'm going to the Feminism in London conference and I'm really looking forward to it. Then in the evening I'm going to see a chinese dance thing and my friend has got free tickets :j:j

I'm hoping not to have a spendy weekend, saturday should be ok and then Sunday I'm intending to stay in and sort my stuff out.

My big news of the day is that my interent is BACK :j

    So pleased!!!!

I'm going to do some washing up and then tidy my room and then go to bed.

all while listening to Florence & the machine, which I bought last weekend with my vouchers that I won at work. :j
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Hello peeps. I hope everyone is having a better Friday than me.

I found out this week that by Tenant has done a bunk owing a months rent & has caused more damage than the bond will cover

In case any one has a child who'se into playmobil, I stopped ito Tesco's on the way home & they a shelf full of the Jet Airliner reduced from £40 to £20 so I got my nephew one for crimbo :j

Oh no! How annoying! in a way though, at least they did a bunk. If they stayed and didn't pay would take ages to go through courts to get them out.......

I hope you manage to do the repairs without it costing too much.....

Thansk for the playmobile tip, might have a look for my niece!

Glad you're feeling better, have been a bit poorly too this week and I totally agree about how it makes you feel very singleicon9.gif. Have needed someone to make me a nice cup of tea and tell me to put my feet up. It's not the same when you have to do it all yourselficon9.gif

Nope, that's exactly it. A cuddle on the sofa and a cup of tea would have made things seem much better this week. I'm hoping I feel good tomorrow and can get lots of jobs done. It's annoying because I just want to get on with things (moneysaving and otherwise), but just haven't been able to. Grrr.

Well done on the ISA! They reckon it's best to fill that up first anyway, don't they, so that's good.

I have had one bit of good news. I applied for an American Express card through quidco for the £30 cashback. It said at the end of the application that they would get back to me within 10 working days with a decision. Was a bit worried I might have applied for too many cards for the cashback. Anyway, I logged on quidco tonight and £30 has tracked and gone straight to validated! Fingers crossed!

Off to get a lemsip. Boy, I know how to live

Whoops, been skimming the posts again,

Sarah - well done on the ISA :j

Gwen - Fab news on the AmEx :)

Fire Fox - sorry if I've been a bit tough. I do respect your feelings & know how hard it is to wrench yourself free from your best friend & lover .... in time you may decide that actually he wasnt that great, but if it works out for you then I will of course be very happy for you. Right now though, my main concern is keeping your self esteem up where it belongs :grouphug:.

Cheers everyone, Pink Elephantage is on

Thanks, have just worked out that with a bit of scrimping and using money I really should be putting to one side that I might be able to get it full by the end of November:j But that will mean not being able to put anything except the bare minimum into my house fund until next year icon9.gif (and possibly a little bit of cc usage:o). But I think I will do it so it's out of the way and I can concentrate on other things.

Am joining you with the wine *sound of glasses being clinked*:D

Sorry, you've lost me there

Why not just keep saving into a savings account once you've filled your ISA & then next financial year you can pay a lump sum into the ISA right at the start of the year & earm much more tax free interest than drip feeding it in.

I am hopeless with money but agree with SBC Sarah - makes sense. Especially if you aren't planning on using it for 3 years.

I know what you mean but I intend to get next year's ISA full as soon as possible and my savings account is one where you lose a month's interest if you take any money out of it. I might do it though if I manage to get the full £5100 of ISA allowance for 2010-11 in my savings before next April (which I doubt) just to save any faffing around.
