    Morning SC.

I think yesterday all turned upside down for you didnt it?

Id suggest, a really nice, big cup of :coffee: and a calm think.

You'll need to do an updated SOA on the next house and work out all the things you need to budget for for the move, for exmaple, vans, petrol, paying off the storage company, literally everything you have to shell out for actually moving. Additionally, is there any immiediate work that must be done on the house, im talking if it isnt dangerous ( ie electric or damp) then dont bother. One thing I would suggest is to think about energy saving measures in your new place. Also you will need to budget for wrapping up the bills in this place and possibly re-connection charges etc in the new place. Solicitors bills the lot need to be accounted for.

then you will need to think about the budgeting in the future. As for example the store cards are going to go, you need to budget for your kids clothes etc. Literally everything that you will ever need needs to go into the budget planner.

Once this debt is gone, then you can start thinking about tackling the 40k you consolidated onto the mortgage, which as you said you were on the MFW board, you know how inportant this is.

All the best & be ruthless with your ebaying. Can you factor in a car boot sale in between now and moving to help things along?

You say, once the card is being paid off, youll cut them up? Why not cut them up now to avoid spending on them. I did it in March and I havent missed them one bit. Chop chop chop.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

No-one's suggested having a lodger in your new place, have you thought about this?

I used to have lodgers all the time - you can get up to £84 a week (averaged over the year) without paying any tax - think how great it would be to throw an extra £300 a month at your debts or even mortgage!!!!!!!!!! :D

Now's a good time to think about it, before you get used to all the extra space in your new house.....
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Economy 7 is the cheap night rate for electric. Im not 100% how it works really, but my system is economy 7, it heats the water at night, when its cheaper. Also we run the washing machine at night cos its chepaer. HAve a look at the energy saving trust website, where there will be lots of tips, for energy and thus money saving.

With things like birthdays, I buy for about 10 people and spend about a tenner on each apart from OH when I'll spend about 100. So thats 190. then divide that figure by 12, thats how much you need to save each month. Same with Xmas. Be realistic though, you cant afford to be spending £££s on everyone. Some people save pigsback, or boots advantage points towards presents, some people have a Xmas box so when they see true bargains they can be saved for Xmas.
