I use Body Shop Shave cream - comes in a medium sized tub and last aaaages. Only needs a tiny bit on the end of a brush, lather it up on your face and Robert's your fathers brother.
My OH got a tub of this for christmas & is a convert. You only need a tiny blob & it gave a lovely smooth shave without the need for moisturiser afterwards. No nicks or cuts & a smooth as a baby's bum face!
I intend to steal it for shaving my legs0 -
Thanks Trow for the melt and pour link. I especially love the packaging ideas. Oooh, I'm feeling all creative, hehe!0

any bog standard soap does the job for me, along with a bic orange - i have quite sensitive skin in places, but never irritates it...
i think that the gels etc, along with electric shavers are a real waste of money

I remember watching my dad shave as a kid. He used to have this plastic dish with a lid, when the regular soap got so small we couldn't use it, in the plastic dish it would go, for shaving.
I dont remember bars of soap ever being thrown away, just recycled. Of course he had a brush to lather it up with.
Can't get cheaper than that!0 -
he has discovered men u (they got a website aswell), which he says is real good and you dont need a lot..... but still gonna give the melt and pour site a got
loopsTHE CHAINS OF HABIT ARE TOO WEAK TO BE FELT UNTIL THEY ARE TOO STRONG TO BE BROKEN... :A0 -
Have you tried Lush?
They have 3 shaving creams all made with natural ingredients. My hubby has tried Ambrosia and Prince (Razorantium is too expensive) He says Ambrosia is best, he has really sensitive skin and a thick bushy zz top beard by 5 o'clock shadow time ;D
I have really sensitive skin and gave up using anything a few years ago. I just do my legs under the running water of the shower with a bic type razor (whatevers on bogof). When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0
