  • I'v never heard of them do they have a website? i cant find anything on google?

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! ther are not a credit card company, they give you credit of £5000 to buy goods from there company. one off fee £99.99 and if you cancell £14.99 fee. there are based in the states but have a company at : 2 minton place, victoria road, bicester, oxfordshire. 0x26 6qb there is no phone number in the uk, the only number available is 0808 2342355. hope this helps,,
  • Ok here's a link to the sites: (replace the x's with the usual)

    hxxp://creditapproval-uk.com
    hxxps://xxx.firstmillenniumcard.com

I did a quick who.is search to find the company's details but it shows that the registrar's details are hidden by Domains by Proxy, Inc. I'm assuming the above pages are affiliate pages. Either that or the company is a little shady.

But the real scam is that once you complete the application form (which requires a credit card number) you'll be whacked for £99.95 for an activation fee and £4.95 every month as a management fee plus £9.95 each month you DON'T use your card!

Too many people get suckered in because they believe they'll automatically get a £5,000 credit limit and £500 cash advanced. They think it's worth the cost because they'll just use the card company's money to pay off the charges! It doesn't work that way! It's all a scam. Like the saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it usually is.

    Take care now x

What type of card is this? is it a credit or deposit card?

Neither. It's a shopping club. The credit cannot be used anywhere other than with themselves for products that have a 400%+ mark up over some of the most expensive retailers on the high street.
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
  • Wish I had found this earlier. I wasnt so much suprised by the joining fee because I read that but rather the prices of the products.

I guess its just a good lesson to read the fine print. They did refund me quickly though, I just called the number from above and the girl (in the US) sorted it out without any fuss.

Im guessing the ads are still around on Facebook because technically the fine print is all there its just up to the person to read it.

As someone said before, if its too good to be true it probably is, but then again after searching for it ive found this site!

  • This is a complete scam, hasnt been deleted from facebook as thats where i found it yesterday, i stupidly entered my debit card number and then they tell you that they will take 99.95 immediately from your account, i have sent a letter to the bicester address telling them to delete my details, i called my bank to stop the transactions going thru and they said they couldnt as i had given them the details but went to use my card today and was declined i then had to phone the fraud dept of my bank who advised me they had twice tried to take 99.95 yesterday and the bank had stopped it, but couldnt guarantee them taking it in the future, i then called the 0808 number and got throught to an american girl who asked me for the card number and she told me they have no record of my card number .... totally stupid of me to give my card details but its a warning to everyone .... its a scan

    Guillible is an understatement.

It looks like exercising caution and common sense was thrown out the window long ago.

  • What got my suspicion hackles up?

    1. A £5,000 credit limit with no credit check. It. Does. Not. Happen. In 2010. It just doesn't.

    2. The link from the Facebook ad - they spelt it Millennium on the top, but on the credit card in the picture it's spelt Millenium! Any legit company scrutinises every pixel of ad and PR that goes out. They don't.
