I phoned CS main number before going to Tesco in Wells, Somerset.
I said I understood certain shops were on a trial of no moc unless buying.
She then "checked" a list of shops and said Wells was fine and still taking coupons, so it sounds like there are just certain shops on the ban at present if anyone could get the list of shops that would be good to know.
I was told this yesterday morning, read the list etc....and then all the bloody stores went right ahead and joined in with the trial. so unless you've been in there yourself, and I think so far bullys is the only one whose tesco is not partaking in this national experiment, i wouldn't take it as gospel.Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

I don't get it......
Ive always shopped at Tesco and it is way cheaper for me than Asda/Morrisons/Waitrose (obviously). I guess not Aldi or Lidl but I don't understand why ppl keep saying its the most expensive supermarket.....
Can someone please enlighten me....I reguarly check the price comparison site but Tesco always comes out on top for me.

Tescos will look at this again in 4 weeks time to see if their sales have been affected. So I will not be shopping at all in my local Ts. I only hope that this is true. If not I have a glimmer of hope as Waitrose are opening up beside me.
this is true about the 4 week trial. gotta work our asses off til then to try and get this policy changed, if only a little bit, then at least we know we tried everything we could do.Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

depends on what you buy i suppose, but just for an example this week carrots in tesco's- £1 morrisons- 30p
swede in tesco,s- £1 in morrisons- 50p, new potatoes in tesco's- £1 morrisons- 30p.
to get the best deals and the cheapest shopping you really have to do your homework and travel to several supermarkets (i go in to several while passing) you just have to buy the offers where they appear0 -

I really cant see it. Yeah there may be a vocal amount of people on this site but i just dont think there are that many people always taking vouchers for items they havent bought.
Good luck with what your doing but im afraid i cant see it being succesfull
trying not to chuckle to myself a little, but I don't think you know the full extent of how many people do this. i'm not sure we will be successful either but i know there are thousands who do what we do!Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -
Cooeeee everyone
Have emerged from behind cardboard boxes.........temporarily for the minute at least
I have had a very hectic/stressful/emotional few weeks and am back for some sanity:D:D - until I went to my Mr T's today and saw the signs _pale_
Do you know what - I thought they were there just for me :eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:
Another new rule that was pointed out to me was put under the big blue sign with the terms & conditions behind CS desk.
"When you return an item all the clubcard points will be removed that you got with the transaction"
Customer Service told me it is because of the recent promotions like the extra points when you bought the perfumes etc. People were returning the perfume but keeping the points. This was also on the memo and Nationwide.
They also said they were totally baffled by the sudden change in the policy as they first they got it was at 14.59 yesterday
xx
whaaaat?? that thing about returning all the points from a transaction is not fair, what if you've spend £200 and you're returning a loaf of mouldy bread or something?Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

Apart from Cat biscuits, Vimto Squash and Cereal I have always brought Tesco own brand unless there is an offer on branded things that makes it cheaper than the own brand - Guess thats why I find it so cheap.:j New but learning fast!! :j0
