It seems to me that he has gone on tv with this (all our hard work) and screwed us over. It's pretty obvious that a policy that is not on Tescos posters, leaflets, and the website is not for national advertising.
We never tried to keep it a secret and all for ourselves, we have welcomed and helped newbies and shared all finds, but instead of just being satisfied with it being on the site, and appearing in the newsletter periodically it appears Martin was determined to give it the widest audience possible and kill it.
My thoughts entirely. :beer:0 -
If it does happen and if it's temporary, then if you value the policy, whatever you do, DON'T shop at Tesco during the ban.
Let them see people vote with their feet.
If everyone takes it on the chin and carries on shopping, Mr T has no incentive to re-introduce the policy in the future.
Just what I've been saying I will do for weeks now:beer:0 -
come on everyone we cant let tesco beat us, we can have fun finding other way to save money on food, we could have a bogof "watch" a bargain "alert" a half price"announcement" :j:j:j[/QUOTE]

Hopefully Tesco will review their policy again. Before I discovered this thread (thank you everyone:A) I used to spread my shopping for the week between Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco and Morrisons, usually in that order - depending on where I was at the time and what I wanted. I also used the Co-op occasionally.
Since discovering you wonderful peeps :lovethougand Tesco's coupon acceptance, I have been doing the majority of my shopping there and only topping up at other stores. I will now have to revert to my old habits and hope things change back soon.
Is there any point in emailing Sir Terry?0 -
