I have reported this as abuse and racist. I find all your comments in the past are uncalled for and abusive and you are trying to provoke reactions for a 'dog fight'. This WILL NOT happen on this forum as we are all educated and friendly people. Please go away and play your childish games elsewhere.

Chantalle, can you explain exactly what you mean by that? I can not believe you meant it to read as it appears to me.

I went in my Tesco last night (10th Oct) and did my usual shop. There were no stickers on the till about not taking coupons. I asked the till girl if they were still taking coupons and she said "Yes, no problem". I don't know if this manager used his discretion, but I assumed it was national policy.

I don't blame Tesco for this decision, I blame (as in previous posts) customers being greedy and abusing the coupon procedure. Tesco are not a charity, and if their profits are being threatened by people abusing the system it makes sense to stop it. Personally I think they will start to allow them again after a cooling down period.
Well, they were never consistent before, so it's no surprise if they're not now!

Maybe it's because you were served by a Saturday girl? Maybe an old trout in the week would have said no?

You could be right, she was very young. I hope she didn't get in to trouble by taking them, do any Tesco employees know if this happens?

    I've been Money Tipped!
I went into Tesco's the other day for a handful of things. I had picked up a money off voucher out of habit from a display stand they had in there, think it was for some kind of biscuit. I put it on the belt with my items as I don't like putting anything in my bag when instore in case anyone thinks I am shoplifting. Anyway, she scanned my items them ripped the coupon off the leaflet and put that through, I was really surprised, it wasn't even perfotated so she had a bit of trouble ripping it out.

Only 35p but it made my bread half price.

    ;)
