We had a very good shopping afternoon today :j:j:j
We started off in sainsburys an found a few good bargains and even managed to use a few mocs :rotfl::rotfl: then it was off to morrisons where we got a few more reduced bargains and special offers and again managed to use a few mocs:D:D and as we had had time we headed off to the asda that's close to these stores. We hadn't been in asda long when we found them reducing bags of potatoes to 10p so we had a few of these then followed the sa started reducing strawberries to 10p a punnet so we had about 17 of those :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: we also got some reduced salad for the animals :T:T:T. The best reductions we got in asda though were loads of trays of chicken breasts, chicken thighs an legs an turkey mince all for 25p a tray and a joint of pork which should have been £9.88 down to £1.50 :T:T:T:D:D:D:D. It did get a bit scary at points though as people were trying to take the trays of meat the sa were reducing for us (we had been there ages and it was because of us that a different sa had gone to find the girl doing the reductions) and mum was getting them back off the people I thought it was going to be handbags at dawn :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So we came back with a bootfull of shopping mainly for us but some has gone to other family members and big smiles on our faces:D:D:j:j:j

Product comes supplied with bold drying sheets (not for the washing but to clean up the dogs doings):T:T

Having M & S chicken tonight, part of the `buy 3 for £10` deal. My washing machine has broken down, don`t think even OH can fix it, so will be scouring the internet, Comet, Currys, etc, tomorrow  Not T`s, though, they are WAY too expensive!
Mine broke down on Friday and I got one from Costco. The same model was £100 cheaper than Comet. Comet had the cheapest prices.madmuppet5 wrote: »Mad needs a new tumble dryer. Don't know whether to go for the combi washer/dryer though
DON'T get combi. Verrry expensive to run and can only dry half the clothes at a time. Drier not very efficient either. Thanks Bob- just a quick ? -where does it say about Currys price match + 10% (could be the wine going to my head- doesn`t take much):rotfl:
I saw a sign in Currys when I was looking to see if they had any bargains before I bought mine (price match + 10%). Thought I would get machine from there as it's nearer than Costco. Gave sales assistant the special offers book but Manager wouldn't agree, as you have to be a member at Costco, but not at currys!A MAN is the head of the family, the WIFE is the neck. The neck turns the head exactly the way it wants.0 -
