When on tumbler mode, it will typically only take half a wash-load.

So you either have to empty half of it out, and do two drying loads....meanwhile, not being able to do the next wash load:mad::mad:

or do what most people do:p....forget that it only takes a half load and have to repair it in a few months when the dryer belt snaps:mad:....

meanwhile, waiting for the parts, you have no way of washing anything, even if it could be hung out to dry.

:rotfl:I don't feel qualified to answer this on the domestic god side of things, (otherwise the wife would have a fit:rolleyes::rolleyes:) just from having to repair the bl@@dy things when the better half overloaded it;), and the kids clothes were breeding in the laundry basket:eek:

Now we have a combi that washes clothes ands a dryer in an outside shed for drying, when the weather is British...( if only I could arrange for Chantelle's "Waitrose" weather in the back garden all the time:rotfl::rotfl:)

Ahh yes it's the same as the TV/DVD conondrum (not you ML:rotfl:) Yea Mad'll stick with a tumble dryer. :T

Also noticed that B & Q are advertising a compact tumble dryer for £99 - not sure what one is but might be worth checking it out.

Thanks for the info, peeps- will take all into account! As long as delivery times aren`t too excessive, may well get 1 off internet.... Just in process of giving my old one away on Freecycle :cool:

Apparently it's a rotary airer and is reliant upon you having a dog. You position it in ya garden and tie ya dog to it (lead not supplied) you then get the stick (supplied) and whip the heck out of the dog for the next three hours and watch ya washing whizz round till dry Product comes supplied with bold drying sheets (not for the washing but to clean up the dogs doings):T:T
