As far as the mocs go - I've only dared give OH small value ones, but may try a larger value next time. We've not been able to use printables for ages, but if I can work my way through the mocs I've have then I'll be happy. Mr A and Mr M will continue to enjoy my custom now though.
I nearly fell over with shock in Asda. We do have some really nice staff in our T's - even on CS  but having queried something with a girl stacking the shelves in Asda, she not only went to CS with me to sort it out, but then asked me was there anything else she could help with - Sir Terry - TAKE NOTE!!!!
Have to agree with you re the staff in Asda..I do Mystery Shops for T's and have to visit competitors stores, Morrisons/Asda/Sainsburys...the staff in Asda are without a doubt the best for stopping what they are doing and sorting out queries...part of the brief is to ask the whereabouts of a product and all staff are supposed to offer to take you to it , the offer can be declined but they should offer, usually Tesco staff nod in the general direction of the product in question and probably only take you to it 4/10 times ...7/10 for Sainsburys , 8/10 Morrisons and 10/10 Asda...but going back 10 days re the coupon policy...Tesco 10/10 for taking mocs ....and that made them the best for me ...
Happy Birthday U-M0 -

Morning all! Happy birthday Muse, you supermarket tart you! Hope you are well enough to have a fantastic day!!!
Well done to your nephew Gill! That was brilliant!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Took me son to play hockey match y'day. Walk to T close to hockey field - to buy more oreo with coupons (but offers finished) instead coming out empty handed! Must admit this Tesco was busy!!! my local T carpark was busy too (passing by looking at the carpark - might be just ppl parking there & go elsewhere nearby).
btw, their tuna is £1 more expensive than Netto for tin of 4. A lady nearly bought it until I told her that she can get it cheaper at Netto and that will save her £2 as she was about to take 2 packs.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
My Sainsbury's , Asda , and Morrisons are all quite close together so I go to all three on the same day does that make me a supermarket slag?;)AKA: PC

Probably posted previously, but just discovered today that the Co-op wont accept ANY internet vouchers. The girl on the till said that they do not get paid for accepting them, which is very unusual because the coupon says that it will reimburse themand an additional payment for accepting them.
We tried the 50p off Tripple Velvet but when she would not take it we left the toilet rolls at the till, they can put them back. I suggested a notice on the door stating the restrictions but she just shrugged her shoulders.

too many foreign sorts in my Waitrose.
I actually think this idiot is trying to wind us up on purpose, what a small sad mind, obviously too much time on his/her hands. :eek:Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.
never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.0 -
I went in my Tesco last night (10th Oct) and did my usual shop. There were no stickers on the till about not taking coupons. I asked the till girl if they were still taking coupons and she said "Yes, no problem". I don't know if this manager used his discretion, but I assumed it was national policy.
I don't blame Tesco for this decision, I blame (as in previous posts) customers being greedy and abusing the coupon procedure. Tesco are not a charity, and if their profits are being threatened by people abusing the system it makes sense to stop it. Personally I think they will start to allow them again after a cooling down period.0 -
