    Good morning everyone.

Had a tour of Aldi, Lidl, and Netto yesterday.

Its gonna take some getting used to as I always shopped in Tesco even before started couponning. Only been couponning around 5 months.

Netto had honey quite cheap. Was £1.55 for jar of Duerrs clear honey and £1.45 for jar of Duerrs set honey.

2 weeks ago I bought a jar from Tesco for £2.55, same make and size, so Netto are £1 cheaper just on this one item.

Also Netto had 4 tins John West tuna in sunflower oil for £1.99

Morning CW - Netto have some great bargains.
Even when I was shopping at T's we used to some get stuff from Netto as well as I didn't want to 'waste' MOC's on overpriced Tesco stuff (I was restricted as to number of MOC's at my store).
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Was in Morrisons yesterday and found Peartiser at 2 for £3 (normally £2.25 a bottle ) - used 2 vouchers @ £1.15 making it 35p a bottle :j. At least it's a way of using up the vouchers, shame to throw them away.

    Happy Birthday Muse :bdaycake::wave:

May I ask you which make of machine you use? Do you weigh out ingredients or use a bread mix?

We have a Morphy Richards Fast Bake. We have used the odd bread mix once or twice but Hubby is the one that makes the bread and he just measures the ingredients using the measuring cup and spoon that came with the bread maker. Sometimes he lets the machine bake the bread but usually he takes the dough out when it's done and either makes buns with it or a bloomer style loaf. My daughter uses her bread maker to make cake. You can make jam with the machine too but we haven't tried that yet.

Edit: We use Hovis flour (the green bag) as we have found that it makes the nicest bread out of all the flours. We have found also that Waitrose sells a Canadian flour that is really nice too. We'll be using that from now on as Tesco is the only place I have been able to find the Hovis (green bag) and since I no longer shop at Tesco...

I used some internets and others in Waitys yesterday, bought the Sun and got another £5 of £30 for this week, it was nice to use a few coupons for the first time in a week.
  • I went to Morrisons yesterday and got the biggest pork shoulder(boned&rolled) for £7.68.
It's on offer at £1.99 kg so I've cut it into 3 and put them in the freezer.
3 sunday roasts for under £8 bargain!! Off to Aldi today to stock up on bargain veg to go with it those maris piper potatoes are delicious I wouldn't pay £1.79 for them but this week they are only 59p for 2.5kg. Also cabbage, sprouts, broccoli 29/39p.

And for tea we had M & S Thai style beef roulade, Dauphinoise potatoes followed by Apple & Blackberry lattice tart with a very good cheeky little red!!! Yummy!

Also all for a tenner - probably wouldn't have happened pre Black Friday!!

Thanks to Mr T for making me try other ways to feed my family - trying to prove there is life after T's.
  • Oh, BTW - sorry forgot. Morning all and happy bargain hunting wherever you decide to shop. Hope you find lots of bargains wherever you go.

My branches of T's seem to have been very quiet all week whenever I have passed them - could this just be a coincidence or not?
