ooo facebook page, that's me signed up.
Now run for me today as have hard training this evening.
I hve a question: got up yesterday and my knee cap has turned into one huge bruise, no I haven't fallen over/hit anything on any of my runs (did ask people) and I don't remember being kicked in sparing.....its not sore just not a nice colour.....is it possible to damage my knee a week ago (as it was tender) and have the bruice come out now?Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -

Who knows? But I wouldnt worry about it, certainly with no soreness around. Just keep an eye on it for the next few days....if it disappears fine, if not its time to get a docs opinion.
It could actually be a burst blood vessel under the surface and, if it is, it will look a lot worse than it actually is!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Nothing like a bit of local press for roundshaw parkrun on page 12:

Brilliant
I was expecting Croydon Council to present this as their own initiative, so I'm glad they haven't. That family is great, especially the 15 year old. Now she has been selected to run for Surrey,I don't feel quite as bad for finishing behind her last time
I'm also glad to see my council tax will go up by a "record low" amount (I just fall under Croydon borough). I wait with bated breath.
Finally, I like the fact that they cover my footie team (Palace), but I'm wondering why they are using a picture from the 2004/2005 season. In fact, all of the players in the pic have since left.
Not much else to report from me, slow runs of 5, 9 and 9 miles so far this week (including run to work this morning). Wanted to go a bit faster today, but I foolishly wore 2 layers and instantly got too hot. Oh well.
Saw a running group coming out of Crystal Palace Park last night and heading up to "the triangle". Who was it again that runs in a group local to me?!
Anyway, going to catch up with the rest of the thread now. the post above is as far as I've got!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
Hi all
No parkrun last weekend, as I was away (plenty of cycling though)
Off out at lunchtime, then hopefully parkrun on Sat for my benchmark run.... see exactly how bad I have got
will then work up to 3 times a week as advised, with one run being slower but increasing in distance. Just have to have fixed days on which I do it
Hope everyone is wellNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Hmm, I'm trying to download pics of myself fromt he parkrun gallery to use on the new website. How do I do it? I seem to remember you could just right click on them, but that doesn't seem to work any more...Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0

Double Left click first, it then opens in a new window. Then you can right click.... (I think)
