Wow another newbie
Hello Bubbalou!
Okay what are you doing currently activity wise? We recommend to start very slowly with lots of brisk walking and build from there as it prepares you for long term fitness
Re: weight loss - I wouldnt worry about it for now, run first when you can get to a decent weekly mileage it should drop off despite eating tons. Its a mistake to try and diet while training though because the body needs carbs and nutrients for running fuel0 -
Hi Bubbalou and welcome to the thread  This is a great place for getting support and advice (and having the occasional rant too) - we look forward to hearing about your progress.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910

Hello peeps! I'm back after venturing out and have had a nice steam shower followed by a regular one!
I did my 10K loop, and considering it's a loooooong time since I've ran (well, jogged slowly!) 10K I concentrated on getting round rather than the time. So I did it in 1hr 20, which I know is rubbish compared to most of you on here, but before my best 10K was 1hr 14 so I haven't gone back down too muchGood wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
Thanks, Simply!:D
If you want a giggle, and at the expense of my embarrasement:o, this is a like for like comparison between last year and this year at exactly the same spot:
