Ah rich you stole my big anouncement!
Cheers though!
Well done to you and Becky on more fine performances today, simply on your 20miler brilliant work, well done to kb, and sorry I think I've forgotten some others hope you've had a good day.
Race report: Felt confident at the start lined up near the front but I ran my race exactly how I wanted. I took it steady up the hill (5km) and felt great that my hill work had paid off, only the last part up to the cafe was incredibly steep and tough. Then it was down and round for 2 1/2 km let myself go down but very strong wind so couldn't push too hard. Then when you get to West Shore it's a pain n the arrrrrrrrse incline when you're tired and hit the wall a bit, from 8 1/2 km it's back along the prom and picked it up. I wasn't wearing my GPS, so picked it up a bit had to overtake a few people and was really pleased to see the clock.
A good run, really chuffed to beat my target, a bit crap that I was 447 out of 500 but onwards and downwards (time) for Farndon in a month's time:j0 -
Ev - there's a second results page 447 out of 540 so you beat 93 people look at the positive

I have to say I haven't really used it much - it was left by the previous owners in the en suite and it's a corner unit with a regular shower head, a rainfall shower above and jets coming out of the side. There's a built in steam facility and a radio! And it's remote control so you can set it going from the bed and get it warmed up first! :rotfl:
But it's great after being out for a run!Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
Sounds a bit complicated to me k_bagpuss - funny that you can set it whilst you're in bed though :rotfl:
Whilst we're having a 'photos' day I thought I'd share one that I took earlier today - hope you're not eating!!
Whilst I was walking home after my run I noticed that my shoe was a bit bloody - I thought it was a bit strange as I wasn't in any pain. When I took it off my sock was soaked at the toe end and I thought that I must have cut a toe or something??
I checked my foot out after I'd showered and ....... nothing :rotfl: I think one of my nail beds must be a bit soft/weak where my toenail hasn't yet grown fully back. Gross!!!!!2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
Ouch simply, hope it's ok and heals quickly xx0
