Very eerie out there tonight, silent and thick fog - there was just me and the ghoulies!!!:p
In essence, that run brings the aerobic phase to an end with Sunday's race acting as a marker to see where the training is currently at, albeit still on tired legs. Then for the next 5-6 weeks it will be a case of gently pressing on the accelerator pedal......
(Hey, Simply, how does today's and last Thursday's run rate on the consistency scale?;))
Good luck on Sunday, evab - it sounds like you're looking forward to it!:)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Its 9am, evab, which represents quite a lie in considering the start is only 5-10 mins away!:)
Do you get a later start?Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Mine isn't until 12pm! They start late round here. Some of the big shops in Llandudno don't open until 10.30 during the week. Lazy bones!0
-
Sounds like Oxford Street - doesnt open til 10am which I find super weird (but then is open till 8pm but its still odd!)
Nice consistency Rich - but you're still seconds out tut tut
Ev - you'll be great - are OH and the kids coming along to cheer you?0 -
What happened to starting work at 0900?!
OH is running too and our friends are having the kids but we're meeting them there with their little one so they'll all see us run in.0 -
Poor bloke, he missed the xmas day parkrun!:p
