I've had a think overnight and decided to take your advice Becky/Rich - I'm not going to worry about the speed sessions for a couple of weeks to see if that helps with the tiredness.
Having said that I ran my usual 'intervals' route this morning and found that I instinctively ran it as a 1 mile warm up followed by 4 faster miles. 10:25 for the first mile and an average 09:30 for the following 4 - not that far off my usual Tempo pace and each mile was getting faster. :rotfl:
Glad to see you haven't lost any fitness Linda and more great running from Becky and Rich :T
Happy Birthday bj!!

I can hardly talk - I went out to do a recovery and then did 9:38s...
But glad you are feeling a bit better and hope the end of the week sees you rested ready for another crack at a nice 200 -
Went for an 8 mile walk today through the park. Would of liked to have done more by now but the kids have been off with the snow. I went out and bought myself some fitted trainers and sports bra with my Christmas and subbed birthday money. So I have to take it seriously now.
Congratulations Simply on your one year anniversary.0 -
....... or a nice 22. I'm taking Thurs and Fri off as leave this week so if I don't sleep too well at night at least I can catch up on some zzzzzzzz's as I won't have to get up so early.
Thanks Rachel; I can't believe I've been posting on here for over a year. Glad you enjoyed your walk - ooh, you've just reminded me that I meant to pop into M&S today to look at the sports bras and I forgot. There's a job for tomorrow lunchtime then.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
I get mine in Asda for £40
-
I managed to get one in Asda a couple of months ago but my local store never seems to have the smaller cup sizes -they must either sell out really quickly or they think that only bigger busted ladies need support. Whatever happens I'm not paying silly prices from a sports shop.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910

Well, you're so lucky if you can get away with cheap small cup sizes! Some of us need strapping up!
Steve, yeah, I know, totally agree about the irresponsible entrants, there should be some kind of assessment process, or just stop this bloody charity scamming of sports events.
A group at work are doing a race for life to fund raise - they don't even know what to fund raise for! "Bev will do it, she runs" - but I don't use my sport to empty my friends purses!
Sorry - I'm turning into a right Victor Meldrew! Must be my age!
Just eaten roast lamb, potatoes, veg then chocolate cake and custard - oh dear, gotta carry that lot with me on my next run! Maybe it will 'fuel' me!!!0 -
I love it, Bj, rant away........:D:D

Yeah, rant rant. I'm gonna get really fast, then I'm gonna rant about the slowbies too! But hey, I haven't been last for ages, so there's hope!
I'm going to do Portsoy in under an hour if it kills me.

p.s. Although I am a slowbie, I do hate the little clusters of women that run and chat, like they're on a coffee morning! I've a horrid feeling that's what a race for life would be like.0
