I can imagine it does feel like treading water when its wet around Roundshaw, BT.
We've decided to have a crack at Bromley next week if you fancy it - flat and mostly on tarmac. Is that a convenient one for you?Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I'm fine, just did one lap, slipping and sliding everywhere so completely rubbish time, and thought - what's the point, I didn't even feel like I was getting a run in, or any exercise, so I bailed out after one lap. However, I was the only one who bailed out, everyone else carried on and completed the course - so, disappointed with myself. Moving on!0

No park run for me yesterday. Had a long lie-in instead and obviously needed it as just slept and slept and then slept some more...
Well done everyone else, esp Becky and Rich for your 3rd positions.
I went for a swim late afternoon so had at least some exercise. Now off to REading for couple of matches.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

:( Today's run felt like hard work from the start and, despite it being a perfect running day, I never really felt like I got into it. I could feel my right hip niggling after a couple of miles and at mile 5 it started to go into spasm and my back hurt, at about 5 1/2 miles my right calf was niggling and I could feel myself starting to limp. I cut the run short at 6 miles (when I got to the end of the first loop) and walked about a mile home. I generally feel tired/under the weather and have a bit of a headache but I think that's because I'm not sleeping properly at the moment.
I'm not sure what to do now, I can:
i) have a rest week to see if the niggle in my hip/back clears up
ii) have an easy week - running my scheduled runs slowly to keep my mileage up
iii) carry on as scheduled and see what happens
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Hannah - well done on your PB that's a great result :T2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
