You have my commiserations beer tins; bet it's nice to be back home though
Hello Louba and tirlittan - it's nice to meet you.
Its a good time to get ill though - you can just push a few weeks off at this point without doing any damage to your fitness or training for the next mara
(I'm a real misery when I'm not able to go out so I do feel your pain - hope your not abusing your co-workers too much)

Commiserations right back to you. Sucks, doesn't it?!
You're right though, I am glad to be back home. Going back to a big empty hotel room every night for two weeks isn't fun. Not that I didn't enjoy myself while I was there, of course.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
What those nice considerate peeps who came into work when they were unwell and spread their germs? Would I abuse them??? Hmm .... maybe that's a 'yes' then :rotfl::rotfl:
Glad you enjoyed it beer tins - even if it did mean some lonely nights. You managed some pretty impressive shopping and peanut butter M&M's sound delish2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

We can work from home if we want/need to. So anyone who comes in to spread their illness gets comments from me!
Peanut butter M&Ms are the way for the future. Can't believe they don't sell them here!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
Ha, ha I shouldn't be so mean really. Most of my section aren't in a job where they can work from home and they only come in because we're so busy that it puts pressure on others when we're short staffed. I'm just annoyed that despite eating the right things, getting plenty of sleep and trying to keep healthy I managed to pick up another bug.
Still it could be worse - I managed to slip on the stairs this morning and slid down a few. Luckily I landed on my bum, which is well padded, and no damage was done.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Hi welcome back! Keep at the 4 miles as its a good distance to give you lots of improvements - keep posting and we'll whip you into shape soon
Thanks Becky. Most of the exercise I do is explosive, short term movement(beach volleyball/badminton), but I quite like running (at least every time I start it again), so I don't really need to build up distance. And I think 3times a week would be maximum I could run as don't have time and to be honest 2 times a week is more likely.
But I'll keep up with what everyone else is up to.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

I know you done me a plan for half marathon which I am very gratefull off!!
Would it be possible for you to do me a plan for a marathon? I am thinking of doing a marathon which is on the 3rd May 2010?0 -
Quick post as meant to be supervising kids tea!!! Have emailed plan to you Becky thank you.
Had good run saturday 4.6miles - (mile times, 10mins, 9.56mins, 8.40mins, 8.36/mins) first 2miles according to plan were meant to be 10.21/mile but was feeling good and struggled to go at that pace- 2nd 2 meant to be 9/mile felt good so just ignored watch for time and went with it.
Will try and get on later and catch up with posts :-)(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -

Sounds like a good run tq, I suspect they are meant to be approximate pacings so I wouldnt worry too much if you are faster
I've got your email so let me process your plan (looks quite complicated) and I'll send some ideas back tomorrow
I'm not running tonight as I have a tight chest (down boys) so am shifting the week around slightly to have a rest day today instead
