Oh floss, that's so kind - but i think I may as well buy some, as i'm sure I'll make the cake again and there are quite a few other yummy-sounding recipes I'd like to try which also use it. I hadn't been up to baking for so long that it's wonderful to be able to do some! You are an :A and i so enjoy reading your posts.

TBH, sometimes a bit of vitamin B6 in a jar is the only thing that will hit the spot - whether it's Marmite, yeasty beer or both!

Have finally unpacked my case from the wedding at the weekend :o but I had already taken my dirty laundry out for washing :p

Saw a thread earlier about JO's chicken & couscous so made that for tea with some y/s f/r chicken bits I got yesterday - it was scrummy, with enough for lunch tomorrow, although there is probably enough couscous for about 2 weeks, and i only made 1/2 quantity!

Saayull are playing the Not-Nots at home tomorrow (for those who don't follow rugby, they're Not from London (anymore!) & they're Not Oirish......) apparently it's our 100th match at Edgeley Park so it's party night with a hog roast......no points for guessing what Floss will be having for tea tomorrow :D :rotfl:

Right, am off to snuggle under the duvet with a copy of Grazia - don't normally buy (just read in the supermarket :o) but it's only £1 this week so it fell into my trolley!

    Night all

Very late post from me as I've had a couple of days from hell. Just not enough hours in either of them. I never want to see another spreadsheet again.
Not much in the way of OS but my freezer stock has kept me going and did a quick spag bol tonight. House is just about presentable and my hens are arriving tommorrow. :j
Lovely friend dropped off a bag of windfall apples tonight and we've been invited to a party on Sunday.

Really just came on to say how I'm still thinking of you and your family Clare. I hope your OH is getting through it as best he can. x
Curly I'm so sorry to hear about your friends son. It doesn't bear thinking about. The best you can do for her is just be there. x
    Diva, I hope you're ok.x
Pink.... Cheer up Missus. When all else fails remeber how lucky you are to have me. :D And remember what our [STRIKE]mad [/STRIKE]wise old Mum would have said... "Stop whining Willard" :p:p:p:p :kisses3:...oh, and if you tell the OSers how much I spent on postage I will disown you.:money: :o

I'm off to try out my new memory foam pillows.

Don't you just hate it when things go wrong. My day was planned out beautifully I took my DD30 miles in to London to go for her third interview that the regional manager said was a formality. She met the MD of the company who it seems was a total a%$*.He was rude to her, and very dismissive of all the things she has done, and rather patronising to boot. She came out with her confidence in tatters feeling very low bless her.She has had 8 interviews in the past fortnight Three with this large company .He said that he couldn't understand why she wasn't more aggrsive in her selling of houses. My Tessa sold 6 house in four weeks two months ago at her old firm. She is very good at her job and likes to ensure that people get exactly what they want. She finds out about local schools, librarys and train services so the buyers won't get lost of flustered coming down to the Medway from London. She is a very caring person and says that she tells folk what the local amenities are like as that as a wife and Mum it is what she wants to know about when buying a house in an unknown area. This bloke was more like a double glazing sales man and said when they were doing this 'role play' excercise that she mush push push push sales all the time and don't let the buyer get away without getting his name signed on the dotted line.So it looks as though that jobs fallen through, but I said I don't want her to be like that with people .She sees another company tomorrow for her third interview there and hopefully it will be a bit better.
Then this afternoon I went to the hospital in hope of getting my new bra's and they wern't in stock ,but they did measure my arm against my good one and last week there was a 21% difference in circumferance and this week it had gone up to 29%, bit of a blow, but they changed my sleeve so now I only have to wear one instead of one plus a glove and its a lot more comfortable. before it was like wearing a pair of shoes that were two sizes too small, now its a lot better fit Just have to wait for my hammocks to come in then I should be a happy bunny. Still not got the heating on its far too warm at the moment still it will help to keep the bills down for awhile fingers crossed.Anyway I'm off up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire to carry on with my Russian Princess book
    Night Night all,another day tomorrow
