    Hi everyone

I hope you all had a great Christmas.

Unfortunately my niece was ill yesterday and my sister ended up taking her to the doctor. She has bad tonsilitus (sp?) so we are going to wait to open all of her presents. She wasn't with it at all bless her.

I got lots of lovely presents, including some new Jane Norman clothes :D, loads of toiletries and make-up (should last me all year - great seeing as I have just given up Avon), a CD, a DVD and some other bits and pieces. I have got a few more presents to come from family members coming over today.

My mum and I are going into town tomorrow to get our Christmas cards for next year :rotfl:.

Have a great Boxing Day everyone

    Evening all

Well I got a couple more DVDs yesterday and £10 from my Grandma which I have put towards a set of pots and pans (exciting stuff!!). I get a set of Tefal ones for £40, so only paid £30 of my own money. I wanted a set that would last longer than the cheap ones I got from Argos!

I went into town today and got some of my Christmas cards (only need another 1 for my mum) for just under £3. I also got a gift set from Boots for £4 for my friend's birthday next month, a Playmobil gift for my niece's birthday in May for £3 and I got some crackers for next Christmas as I am having it in my new flat - 12 crackers for £2.50 in Boots.

Also my mum treated me to lunch and she got me some pink over gloves for my new flat.

It is only 13 more days until I move into my flat. I feel like I have so much to do and haven't even been home since Thursday as I have been staying at my mum's house. I'm going home tomorrow evening so will do as much as I can then and every evening for the rest of the week. Going to be at my mum's again for New Year though.

Right, going to stuff my face with some more leftovers ;)

    Afternoon everyone

Another exciting day for me - off to Tesco today to look for some baking trays and get some food in for work next week.

I am going back home this evening so need a to-do list so I don't just veg out watching my new DVDs:
    1. Wash hair (a chore as it takes 4 hours to dry!).
    2. Do 2 loads of washing and hang up to dry.
    3. Put hoover my mum gave me to sell on Gumtree.
    4. List another load of items on Freecycle.
    5. Clear out the drawers under my bed.
    6. Bag up coins to put into the bank tomorrow.
    7. Chuck out all old Avon books.
    8. Clear out big wardrobe.
    9. Sort out CDs and pack away.
    10. Clear out one bedside cabinet.
I will get all that done tonight and do another list of 10 things tomorrow. Hopefully I will get everything done in time that way.

    Have a great day everyone

Thanks Lou :A. I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

I really am starting to panic about running out of time so want to get everything packed ASAP. I also don't want to take any of my junk with me so am keen on decluttering as well as packing.

I promise to relax in 12 days time when I am in my beautiful new flat ;).
