I need to get this down on here before I go to bed.

I have worked out the 7 tasks I need to complete to pay my Capital One card off by Valentines Day 2010:
    1. Fill my tin can full of pound coins = £100 (10% cleared)
    2. Sell items on eBay (mainly jewellery but other things too) = £100 (20% cleared)
    3. Sell Amazon vouchers from BP on eBay = £50 (25% cleared)
    4. Get £50 cheque from Dooyoo = £50 (30% cleared)
    5. Get £300 from AQA during December = £300 (60% cleared)
    6. Get £300 from AQA during January = £300 (90% cleared)
    7. Get £100 from mystery shopping = £100 (100% cleared :D)
So, no daily to-do lists. This is the only one that counts and I WILL do something towards this list every day until the Capital One card has gone, even if it is just putting £1 in my can. I already have £10 in there by the way ;).

I really like the idea of breaking it down like this as I know this is achievable.

    Night everyone

  • Hi Emily

Your thread is really inspirational, after reading all your posts I decided to join this site (unsure what to do next really, where do you start on here)

I have a few questions for you if you don't mind ?

    What is:

    A daily click site?
    A freebie Board?
    AQA ?
    Dooyoo reviews?
& Which Mystery Shop company do you use ?

It's a complete mine field but I am really interested.

I have recently started selling on ebay and via some local stores on a sale or return basis, but open to any other ideas to generate some extra income

Appreciate your time (hope you're keeping well & looking after yourself too)

    Kind Regards
    Neil

    Hi everyone

So, an ok day today on the goals list:
    1. Fill my tin can full of pound coins = £100 (10% cleared) - An impressive £9 added today taking it up to £19 :D
    2. Sell items on eBay (mainly jewellery but other things too) = £100 (20% cleared) - Can't list anything until Sunday as OH has my camera.
    3. Sell Amazon vouchers from BP on eBay = £50 (25% cleared) - Have listed my £10 voucher on tonight and am already up to 4k for the next one.
    4. Get £50 cheque from Dooyoo = £50 (30% cleared) - I have got 12,215 miles. I am going to do another 3 reviews tonight before I go to bed to bring that up a bit.
    5. Get £300 from AQA during December = £300 (60% cleared) - Can't start until December.
    6. Get £300 from AQA during January = £300 (90% cleared) - Can't start until January.
    7. Get £100 from mystery shopping = £100 (100% cleared :D) - Haven't managed to get any jobs, but did a Pinecone survey so am counting that - £3 so far.
Quite chuffed with that for one day.

Better get on with those reviews.

    Hi everyone

I have decided that a change of plan is in order. I am still going to clear my Capital One card, however I want to do it by 9th January 2010 which is the date that I originally wanted to clear my Barclaycard by (100 days from the start of this challenge) meaning that in the first 100 days, I would have cleared 2 of my 10 debts.

    My revised to-do list is:
    5. Get £600 from AQA during December = £600 (90% cleared)
    6. Get £100 from mystery shopping = £100 (100% cleared :D)
This means that I would have already gained 100 days on my challenge so it will be easier when it comes to clearing the larger debts.

I have been looking for mystery shops all day and have got one worth £13 but I'm not sure if it will be in my bank before 9th January so won't count them until they actually get into my bank.

Have been on BP all day and am doing rubbish. Back down to 2.5k. Oh well, still a few days left to get another voucher yet :D.

    Will update more later.

Free from work - hooray :j:j

I have got another 2 mystery shops for tomorrow making it £33 for the 3. Again not sure if I will get paid for them before 9th Jan but fingers crossed that I do.

Still having a nightmare on BP today, not won once. Although my Amazon voucher is selling for £10.01 already so pleased with that.

Off to meet my friend for something to eat shortly. 2 meals for £8 so shouldn't cost much more than a fiver.

I had a nice meal with my friend and it only cost me £6 so not too bad.

My progress today is as follows:
    1. Fill my tin can full of pound coins = £100 (10% cleared) - Added another £3 so am up to £22 now.
    2. Sell items on eBay (mainly jewellery but other things too) = £100 (20% cleared) - Will start taking pictures tomorrow night when I get my camera back. Will list everything on Sunday.
    3. Sell Amazon vouchers from BP on eBay = £50 (25% cleared) - Doing rubbish today. Not one win and down to 500 points. Never mind, still time.
    4. Get £50 cheque from Dooyoo = £50 (30% cleared) - Up to 14,030 miles and will do another 3 reviews tonight.
    5. Get £600 from AQA during December = £600 (90% cleared) - Can't start until next month.
    6. Get £100 from mystery shopping = £100 (100% cleared :D) - Up to £36 of potential jobs/Pinecone survey.

    Evening all

Hasn't been a bad day. I got my sister's final Christmas present. Managed to get £7 off it at the Debenhams 20% off thing today so pleased with that.

    My progress for today is:
    1. Fill my tin can full of pound coins = £100 (10% cleared) - Another £6 put in so up to £28 now.
    2. Sell items on eBay (mainly jewellery but other things too) = £100 (20% cleared) - Got my camera back so will start listing them tomorrow evening.
    3. Sell Amazon vouchers from BP on eBay = £50 (25% cleared) - Rubbish again, going to hit the slots before bed but have been doing badly today so not holding much hope this week. Voucher on eBay is up to £11.01.
    4. Get £50 cheque from Dooyoo = £50 (30% cleared) - Did my 3 reviews but haven't done any today. Up to 15,755 miles.
    5. Get £600 from AQA during December = £600 (90% cleared) - Can't start until next month.
    6. Get £100 from mystery shopping = £100 (100% cleared :D) - I have done 2 jobs today and have another Thursday next week.
    See you all tomorrow.
