Dear me Wendz! The only words we used to change were 'yellow submarine' to 'tub of margarine' (yes we sang Beatles songs at my school rather than hymns ). I do know a version of O Christmas Tree that starts Oh Tom the Toad, anyone else? Poor Tom!

We used to sing Noel, as No Well (works good with a Scottish accent)

We were pretty nieve too.... little donkey became wonky donkey after a school production one year where the lad playing the donkey had a leg in a cast!

Hahaha, and they still made him play the donkey? I found some old pics from our nativity when I was 5 the other day - I'm an angel, but there are two poor souls stood at the side of the stage in tree costumes!! Poor little boogers!

I was a tree in nursery, I LOVED it! Angels were all chilly in their bed sheets, I got to wear a big green wooly jumper!

Don't know, but I had real baubles on me! Luckily they stopped short of fairy lights....

I was a king 2 years in a row, I was not happy! I wanted to be a pretty angel (since the stupid blond girls got to be Mary!) but nooooo, I had to be a horrid boy! It still hurts now...

I liked to sing, 'While shepherds washed their socks by night all hanging on a line, an angel from the lord came down and said those socks are mine!'

I hated that I wanted to be Mary! Although one year I got all the blonde girls back - I was picked to play ElizabethI in a play because I have ginger hair - HA!

I had the worst roles though, my first year I was a star, one year I was a Robber and in my final year I was a Reporter (I got to do a group dance to 'Best Friends' by AllStars - remember them?!) I think by the time I left Primary Christmas Plays were getting well and truely weird..
