Morning all,
OMG! you lot don't harf natter, it's taken me an hour to catch up with you all.
Got to go shopping in a mo, but I just wanted to say 'Hi' and to let you know my cat turned up yesterday morning after going awol for two whole days(think he got locked in one of my neighbours sheds). He's home safe now much to the relief of me and ds1.
Will catch up with you all later, have finished the bee for SIL and will attempt to post a photo!!!
((Hugs to all))))x:jWooligans Totals 2010:
2 preemie hats, 2 preemie gowns, 1 bunting, 1 sleeping bag, 12 chalky squares0 -
For ages I have been thinking about a mathematical approach to a cuddlylapaghan.(Very unlike me!!)
So I have decided to use 3 colours in each square and repeat the colourways 6 times and then make squares containing 9 squares and the pattern of placement repeats itself using all the different shades
I DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND THAT !!!! bUT maybe some pictures will help !! If not I will post a picture when it is finishedTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
flying visit

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Good afternoon everyone,
Missed last week completely due to nasty bug, feeling more like myself now though.
Such a lot to catch up on but I think I've got up to date on all the news.
ISOM Isoke is so pretty, I do hope her tummy is better. It must be very difficult having a lodger, you want to be friends but if you're too friendly they take advantage? Better luck with the next one.
Shaz hope you are well, I've been thinking of you.
psso I do hope your daughter is feeling better, she's so young. You certainly seem to be having more than your fair share of problems lately. Fingers crossed for easier times from now on.
mioliere hope DH's finger is better, does that mean more dust?
maytaurus, love the double coffee blue monday picture, so apt.
OnlyGirl so pleased your cat's come home, lots of extra cuddles I bet.
Chalky I actually understood your maths, and it works beautifully. I'm ok on maths and wool, but try to apply it to something else and I get a headache!
I'm sure I've missed a lot, so love and hugs to everyone else!
I've put some photos on wooligans this morning, if anyone would like to see them.0 -
chalky - the picture is lovely, lovely colours. I think that's a good way to work out the colours.
kinsey - I've just seen your pictures on Wooligans, you're an excellent knitter, I will strive to produce work as neat as yours!
ISOM - thanks very much for the offer to share postage but I've already sent my package.

Afternoon everyone. I feel a bit unwanted now, been to see Mum, offered to take her out to lunch & would you believe it- she turned me down!! Seriously though she's well but feeling a bit tired so we've put it off 'til Weds.
As I gained a couple of hours - went to woolshop to get wool for Poppies for the LH challenge - here's a pic of my first crochet one
I think the centre's a bit big, might a smaller hook for the next one.
Chalky - love the new cuddlylapaghan - gorgeous colours and great way of working out the design. Also - Thanks for your earlier post - lovely way with words as ever.
Kinsey - glad you're feeling better, lovely pics in Wooligans - great work, you might like this pattern : http://zodwollopp.webs.com/emilspeababepattern.htm

Mrs Moneypenny - good to hear from you - perhaps you'll have time to chat later.
Shazrobo, like me, you'll be glad to see the weather brighten up - its quite nice here now!
Must go feed myself now - Mum's fault for refusing lunch :rotfl:
