Hi everyone - it's been quiet on here today! I must admit I'm still feeling really tired so have not done a great deal today. I've been sat down working on a square this evening so have managed to get something woolly done.
ISOM - I hope your Mum starts to feel better soon.
Seakay - hope you feel better soon, too. So sorry to hear about your friend.
I hope everyone has a good evening and that you all sleep well.

morning all
well its sunny here for the moment, but i am told that rain is on the way. i have just had a look at the work that i did on my oxfam jumper last night and... its just not right, the body size is all wrong and i am going to have to rip it back. oh well, if you crochet in the dark, you might make mistakes!
hope all the poorlies are feeling a little better today, best wishes and buckets of smiles and happiness go out to all of you.
had a look at mrs twins site today, those blankets are lovely (the individual squares are really beautiful). well done mrs twins.
chalky, i will post your squares today, sadly they are very plain and are nothing like the ones on mrs twins site, perhaps next time....
have a fabulous day everyone and speak to you later.

Hi
Some lovely knitted teddies and slippers a few pages back :-) and some very pretty crochet squares :-)
ISOM hugs for you and your mum.xx
MAYTAURUS special hugs for you as well. xx
Popped over the bridge Monday for a flying visit with my boy :-) Will be doing the same trip on Sunday afternoon, to bring him back here for a short visit, and taking him back on the Monday.
Will be glad when the election is over. It's getting on my nerves lol.
Finished the little vest, it was so sweet. Started a size 10 premmie cardie. It looks so small I can't believe it will fit a baby, looks more like a dolls cardie ????
Going to cast on for another of the new church babes, something female this time I think :-) Want to mske something for the girlsbaby, who lived with us for a while as well. Might do a bigger size for her, ready for the Autumn. I'm thinking a nice little snowflake jacket would be nice :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need. ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

little wave accross the houses seakay...sorry your friend is poorly
Hope people are all ok...things here somewhat fraught...downstairs neighbor loathes lodger with a passion is is complaining about noise...must be all the wild parties we have!! K will be using the house as an office for a couple of weeks as her installation has been cocked up and she works from home...so she will be coming back and fore.
Mum may be discharged today which will make logistics a bit easier as going to and from hospital is expensive plus wearing...not that I mind at all. On top of that is the w*** situation so its all been a bit much the last couple days...mantra this too shall pass...
Sorry to moan! Chalky hope youre having fun with squares! I seem to have lost the one I did!
Hugs for the poorlies, unpackers, mover and just plain ole strugglers!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
ISOM sorry to hear things are so fraught, ((hugs)) if it helps. Good that your mum can come out of hospital though, hope that all goes well. You must have a mantra for every occassion by now.0

ISOM - neighbour is a real pain, but if it's any comfort I have lived next to people who regularly got so wrecked they fell asleep with the music still blaring at 4am and no one could shift them from their council flat and the police didn't even bother showing up, so I don't think that anything will happen except for the unpleasantness.
Glad to hear your Mum is out of hospital.
Hugs to all of our overworked and poorly gang - perhaps it's the time of year, but we all seem to be at a low ebb.
Fingers crossed about w***.0 -
